Your key responsibilities:

• Participate in all software development activities following Scrum process
• Design solutions and approaches for software features or subsystems
• Write high-quality code to implement software features or fix bugs
• Perform unit testing, documentation and all other activities defined in Definition of Done before passing source code to Testing team
• Communicate and report internally or directly to client on status or result of work

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side services and core modules with solid code quality and clean architecture.
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs for product features; ensure secure design (least privilege), reliability, and good performance.
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical solution design; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Integrate third-party SDKs/services; troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Research new technologies, write clear technical documentation, and share knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related fields; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Backend development fundamentals (meet any one track):

1. Go (Golang), or
2. PHP (any framework such as Laravel/Swoole/Phalcon), or
3. Java.

• Solid understanding of backend basics: OOP, common data structures, basic networking concepts, and practical debugging skills.
• Familiarity with databases and data stores (e.g., MySQL; Redis as a plus) and basic Linux/CLI usage.
• Strong learning agility, ownership, and teamwork; able to communicate clearly and drive tasks to completion.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin is required for this position. Justification: The incumbent is required to facilitate seamless communication and technical collaboration with our HQ and regional R&D/support teams in China. Responsibilities include participating in meetings conducted in Mandarin, interpreting technical specifications, and managing project documentation in Chinese.

Preferred (within Requirements)

• Experience with one or more backend frameworks and good engineering practices (code review, modular design, reusable services).
• Interest or exposure to distributed systems and cloud-native tooling (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes), caching and messaging systems.
• Full-stack advantage: able to collaborate smoothly on client-server integration and handle basic deployment/ops tasks.
• AI-driven development advantage: effectively use AI tools to improve productivity while keeping outputs verifiable and maintainable (design, code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review).

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in full-stack development of web products, using Node.js + Koa/Nest.js to build backend services and RESTful APIs, and using React/Vue to implement responsive interactive pages.
2. Design database schemas and optimize queries for MySQL/MongoDB, with basic proficiency in ORM frameworks (TypeORM/Sequelize).
3. Deeply integrate AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) throughout the development lifecycle — leveraging AI for code generation, refactoring, unit test writing, and bug fixing — while reviewing and fine-tuning AI‑generated code to ensure quality and security.
4. Participate in basic deployment and operations on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and understand the basics of Docker containerized development environments.
5. Collaborate with the team on code reviews, technical documentation, and agile iterations, following Git Flow conventions.
6. Keep up with the latest trends in AI‑assisted development, and explore potential integration of LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude API) into real business scenarios.
7. Assist in system performance analysis and basic troubleshooting, continuously improving application experience and stability.

Requirements

Mandatory

1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree (2025/2026 graduate) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Node.js Backend Fundamentals: Familiar with Node.js asynchronous programming model, event loop, and built-in modules; knowledge of at least one backend framework (Nest.js / Koa).
3. Frontend Basics: Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+); familiar with at least one frontend framework (React or Vue), able to independently build page components.
4. Database Basics: Ability to write SQL queries, basic understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL; experience with ORM (TypeORM) is a plus.
5. Version Control & Collaboration: Proficient in Git for code management and team collaboration.
6. AI Tool Proficiency: Have used at least one AI‑assisted programming tool (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) in practical coding or course projects. Able to leverage AI to generate code snippets, add comments, explain complex logic, and reasonably review/optimize AI‑generated content.

Nice-to-Have

• Own technical blog, GitHub repository, or have contributed to open‑source projects.
• Basic knowledge of Docker (writing Dockerfiles, using docker-compose).
• Experience with TypeScript in projects.
• Basic understanding of Redis (caching, session management).
• Familiarity with basic cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) on AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience calling LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude API) for simple features.
• Strong interest in Generative AI, understanding basic concepts like RAG and Prompt Engineering.
• Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for daily communication in Singapore's work environment.
