What will you do as a Data Business Analyst?

• Conduct requirement sessions with business users, analyze and design solutions holistically across the DSG’s offerings
• Work closely with various stakeholders such as business end-users, data vendors and data engineers to implement and support data solutions using best-of-breed technology and methodology while adhering to our data governance standards and data architecture principles
• Design testing strategies and execute end-to-end user acceptance testing of system and data changes in data solutions
• Manage end to end data management operational activities of data products, including monitoring data delivery, resolving operational incidents and providing advisory to users
• Establish a robust and scalable data operation process that encapsulate the entire data lifecycle from data registration to decommission
• Design and implement quality metrics and monitor quality of market data to ensure integrity and quality of data meets user expectations
• Set up, improve, and streamline data operations processes through analysing systems operations data (SLAs, customer satisfaction, delivery quality, team efficiency etc.) and incorporating best practices for continuous improvements and operational excellence
• Manage and maintain strong relationship with data providers (internal and external) and vendor to ensure continuous support and knowledge for existing and future data needs
• Coach and guide junior team members

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?  

• Possess a degree from recognized tertiary institution with at least 5 years of relevant experience in data management, finance or asset management industry, where at least 3 years are with hands-on experience in data management or data analytics or business analysis
• Experienced with the Systems Development Life Cycle implementation methodology (SDLC) and/or agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
• Competent in managing data warehouse, designing data models, and use of data management tools such as Oracle, Snowflake, Informatica, Denodo and data visualisation tools such as Tableau
• Knowledge of using formulas/macros in Excel or coding in Python is advantageous
• Good understanding of the principles, key controls and processes relating to data management
• Detail oriented, with strong analytical skills and enjoy complex problem solving
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders to design and develop solutions
• Self-driven, pro-active and great sense of purpose to review existing data usage with a keen eye and implement innovative solutions for greater efficiency and quality of data processing

Role Summary

We are looking for experienced Freelance Recruitment Consultants who can support recruitment assignments across technology and corporate functions.

This is a fully remote freelance role with a high degree of autonomy. You will manage recruitment assignments on a commission basis, either independently or in collaboration with the internal team.

Because we operate on a flat-fee model, commissions are generally lower than traditional percentage-based agencies. However, the work is designed to be more sustainable, transparent, relationship-driven, and consistent.

This role is suitable for recruiters who value quality over quantity, take pride in representing clients and candidates well, and want to be part of a recruitment model built on trust rather than aggressive sales pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including role intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlist preparation, and placement coordination.
• Source and engage candidates across technology and corporate roles, including areas such as infrastructure, systems, engineering, AI, robotics, commercial, operations, finance, HR, and other professional functions.
• Engage clients and candidates with professionalism, honesty, and clarity.
• Assess candidates beyond keywords by understanding role fit, motivation, communication style, career direction, and cultural alignment.
• Collaborate with other consultants and internal team members when roles require shared effort.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the ATS.
• Uphold high standards of ethics, confidentiality, data accuracy, and candidate care.
• Support ad-hoc recruitment initiatives or talent-mapping activities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of 360 recruitment experience, preferably within technology, corporate functions, or professional services recruitment.
• CEI Certification in Singapore is mandatory.
• Strong sourcing, screening, assessment, and closing capabilities.
• Good understanding of candidate management and client stakeholder communication.
• Able to work independently with ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable recruiting for both active and passive candidates.
• Able to communicate clearly, professionally, and tactfully with clients and candidates.
• Comfortable using ATS platforms, LinkedIn, job boards, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other remote working tools.
• Prior experience recruiting for technology roles such as infrastructure, systems, DevOps, software engineering, AI, robotics, cybersecurity, or deep tech will be advantageous.

Oversee batch processing, data pipelines, upstream/downstream interfaces and application dependencies supporting payments, settlements and financial reporting.

Drive technical governance across infrastructure, application, database, vendor and support teams to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.

Lead major incident management, DR/BCP execution, audit compliance, ITGC controls and operational risk mitigation for regulated banking systems.

Manage global technical teams, delivery roadmaps, automation initiatives, KPI reporting and continuous improvement to enhance platform availability and operational efficiency.
