As a DRAM and Emerging Memory Quality and Reliability Assurance (DEMQRA) High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing and tracking the formal Failure Analysis (FA) of customer-returned product. You will summarize analysis at the electrical and physical level, identify root cause, and establish associated containment plan. In this role, you will work with various engineering and manufacturing groups to evaluate and implement corrective actions (CAs) for the identified issues. You will need to distinguish whether it is package or device related failures. Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Python, with a proven track record of designing and evolving distributed systems that handle global-scale data with high availability and security.
• Track record of technical leadership, including mentoring junior engineers and driving technical alignment for small-to-medium sized projects.
• Strong background in relevant security domains, particularly in cloud infrastructure and third party security controls.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex product/security requirements into robust technical designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products based on their applications
• Provide technical advice on metal cutting tools such as inserts, end mills, drills, and taps
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including manufacturers and suppliers
• Keep updated on product features, specifications, and applications
• Analyse customer requirements and suggest suitable cutting tool solutions
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations

• Minimum Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Machining, or related field

Purpose of Role:

As the Team Lead for Support functions to Ship Repairs projects, this person is responsible for planning, managing and deployment of manpower and relevant resources to provide support for the following functions: Painting, Cleaning, Scaffolding, Security Escort of contractors.

Responsibilities:

Scaffolding Provision

• Ensure scaffolding structures meet safety standards and are built to accommodate operational needs.
• Coordinate with other departments on timely erection and dismantling of scaffolding.

Cleaning/Painting Provision

• Understanding various methods of surface preparation, coating material and industrial standards and regulations to painting works. 
• Coordination of all painting/cleaning activities effectively and safely.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, maritime laws, and company policies.
• Promote a culture of safety.
• Provide training and guidance on safety practices for all department personnel

Security

• Provide manpower to escort external contractors from point to point within client’s compound
• Ensure contractors’ compliance on security protocols within compound

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor the production team, ensuring effective communication and cooperation across various functions.
• Set performance targets, conduct performance reviews, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
• Manage departmental schedules, ensuring optimal staffing and resource allocation.

Resource Management

• Oversee the allocation of resources (personnel, equipment, materials) for all production tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely procurement of materials required for ongoing operations.
• Control department budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality or safety

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with other department heads, Ship repair managers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and project coordination.
• Provide regular progress reports, identifying challenges and proposing solutions to senior management

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering (Dip holders with 5 years relevant working experience)
• Knowledge of painting, staging operation and able to interpret technical drawings and paint specification will be advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects and manage complex technical issues
• Able to deal with and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders effectively at all levels.
• Possess man-management experience to supervise and deploy workers.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to commit to overtime when required
• Able to follow and implement security, safety and shipyard disciplinary protocols and guidelines
