Full job description:

The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all construction activities are carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements and company HSE standards. The role involves supervising on-site operations, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a safety-first culture throughout the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

Work at Construction Site
Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and relevant legislation.
Implement and enforce safety plans, risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Conduct site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk control audits.
Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings for all workers and staffs
Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Promote proper use of PPE and ensure workers are trained in safe work practices.
Liaise with construction management, main-contractors, and safety officers to address safety issues and implement improvements.
Participate in emergency drills and ensure that firefighting and first aid equipment is maintained and accessible.
Maintain all safety records, inspection checklists, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Must possess a valid DOSH / JKKP Yellow Book registration.
Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in construction or finishing works (preferred).
Good technical knowledge of flooring systems is an added advantage.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Able to work independently and troubleshoot issues on-site.
Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel to various project sites based on schedule.

Service under: Contract for Service

Contract duration: 12 months
Allowance for work on Sunday / Public Holiday
Potential contract renewal based on performance

What You’ll Be Doing：

Monitor budget execution across workshops, conduct regular variance analysis, and propose improvement actions
Track work order execution and closure to ensure accurate and timely cost allocation
Monitor warehouse inbound, outbound, and shipment activities to ensure data accuracy and prevent abnormal losses
Control material over-issuance, scrap, and losses; analyze root causes and drive corrective actions
Oversee spare parts usage and inventory management to improve utilization and reduce inventory costs
Assist in workshop cost accounting and analysis (materials, labor, manufacturing overhead) to support cost control and optimization
Collaborate with production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and process compliance
Participate in stocktaking, investigate inventory variances, and follow up on adjustments and improvements
Support cost improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction and efficiency enhancement

Your Background & Experience：

Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or related disciplines preferred
At least 1 year of relevant experience in finance or cost-related roles; manufacturing experience is an advantage

Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing cost structures

Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate end-to-end export and import logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient shipment execution.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, export/import logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role.
Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, Incoterms, and trade compliance requirements.
Experience managing freight forwarders, customs agents, shipping documentation, and transportation providers.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/logistics management systems (e.g., SAP).
Ability to analyze logistics performance, manage costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Able to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Good command of English, both written and spoken, is required. Ability to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage due to business communication requirements with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
