Part-Time Ukulele Teacher

SWEATINCGlobal is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Ukulele Teacher to conduct enrichment classes for children in a fun and engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct beginner-friendly ukulele lessons for children.
- Teach basic chords, strumming techniques, rhythm and simple songs.
- Plan engaging and age-appropriate lesson activities.
- Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity and an interest in music.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback when required.
- Ensure the safety and proper handling of instruments during lessons.
Requirements
- Prior experience teaching ukulele or music to children is required.
- Proficient in playing and teaching the ukulele.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient, energetic and comfortable working with children.
- Reliable and available on weekdays from approximately 3:00 PM onwards.
- Experience teaching in preschools, primary schools or enrichment centres is an advantage.
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are preferred.
