Infrastructure System Engineer

We are looking for an Infrastructure System Engineer to support, maintain, and optimise our on‑premise and cloud IT infrastructure. This role requires strong hands‑on technical capability, project collaboration, and the ability to ensure secure, stable, and efficient infrastructure operations.

Job Description:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, storage, networks, and on‑prem/cloud environments.

• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and system performance across infrastructure components.

• Manage VMware/Hyper‑V platforms and support Windows OS and Windows Server Environments.

• Support AWS/Azure infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.

• Perform system/database setup, patching, backup, DR and automate tasks.

• Closely collaborate with Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within timeline, cost, and scope

• Manage and oversee project documentations and subcontractor matters

• Set up network switches, perform network checks, and configure IP settings for project devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and IT system issues.

• Support data migration, integration, monitoring, security and compliance.

• Participate in system integration, UAT/FAT/SAT, deployment, staging, and production setup.

• Work with services such as AD, NMS, ClearPass, MFA/2FA, KMS, Antivirus, Patch Management, MDM.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in infrastructure or system engineering roles.

• Experience with backup/recovery, documentation, and supporting tender requirements.

• Familiarity with certification/key management and common infrastructure services.

• Bonus skills: SQL, VAPT tools, basic development knowledge, access control systems, failover/ redundancy tech.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and time‑management skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team; strong process and documentation discipline.
  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and implement software applications primarily using C# and JavaScript (Node.js). 

• Maintain and take ownership of software applications and products across their full lifecycle. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality features. 

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in accordance with best practices. 

• Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure performance, reliability, and security. 

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and support. 

• Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends to continuously improve our software stack. 

• Contribute to the refinement of development methodologies and internal best practices. 

Requirements: 

• Strong proficiency in .NET and JavaScript (Node.js). 

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services 

• Experience working with Windows Server environments and scripting. 

• Familiarity with Linux-based systems is a plus. 

• Proficient with version control systems such as Git. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

• Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of bus / rail infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Support project management activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align project deliverables and address technical challenges.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and presentations for various stakeholders.
• Contribute to the evaluation and selection of appropriate materials, technologies, and engineering methods for project execution.
• Participate in site inspections and testing to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in bus / rail technology and urban mobility trends.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or a related field, preferably with experience or interest in bus / rail systems or urban mobility solutions.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency with engineering software tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project environment.
