Responsibilities
Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, and cleaning surfaces.
Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections with suitable materials such as plaster or putty.
Mix paints, coatings, and other materials to achieve the required colour, texture, and finish.
Apply paint, varnish, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools.
Ensure all painting work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.
Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups when necessary.
Calculate material requirements and assist in estimating project costs.
Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter in commercial, residential, or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of painting materials, tools, techniques, and surface preparation methods.
Ability to select, mix, and apply paints and coatings correctly.
Good understanding of commercial and construction painting practices.
Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, reliable, and detail oriented.
Working Conditions
Must be willing to work beyond regular working hours when required.
Must be willing to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays when necessary.
Must be willing to workday shifts, night shifts, and rotating shifts as assigned.
Must comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

You will apply your carpentry skills in construction projects, working on-site to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. You will adapt to shift work and support project handovers as needed, contributing to successful project completion.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry tasks on construction sites to meet project specifications and quality standards
Adapt work schedule to include shift work and after-hours during project handovers to ensure timely completion
Participate in practical skills assessments as requested by management to demonstrate competency
Complete probation period tasks and evaluations to qualify for permanent employment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a carpenter in construction
Willingness to work shifts and outside regular hours during project handovers
