Scope: Finance Transformation to migrate SAP ECC 6

Description

•Prepare comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation that clearly outlines business objectives, technical and functional requirements, scope of work, evaluation criteria, timelines, and contractual expectations. Ensure that the RFP documents are aligned with organizational procurement policies and project goals, enabling vendors to understand requirements clearly and submit competitive and compliant proposals.

•Conduct detailed industry and market analysis to identify potential vendors and solution providers relevant to the project requirements. Assess vendor capabilities, market reputation, service offerings, financial stability, and experience in similar engagements. Based on this analysis, develop a recommended list of vendors to participate in the RFP process and support the vendor shortlisting process.

•Plan and manage the overall RFP lifecycle by defining timelines, milestones, communication protocols, and submission processes. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth execution of the RFP process, track progress against the plan, and address any issues or clarifications that arise during the proposal submission phase.

•Organize and manage vendor presentations and solution demonstrations as part of the evaluation process. Coordinate schedules, prepare evaluation guidelines for stakeholders, and ensure that vendors effectively present their proposed solutions, implementation approach, and value proposition to key decision makers.

•Lead the RFP evaluation process by establishing a structured scoring and assessment framework covering technical, functional, and commercial criteria. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional evaluation teams, collect feedback from stakeholders, and ensure that vendor proposals are evaluated in a transparent, objective, and consistent manner.

Project Overview:

•Join a project involving a newly deployed web-based tool.

•Post-deployment, future business requirements and enhancements for the tool are yet to be defined.

Role & Responsibilities:

•Maintain and enhance the existing JavaScript code for the web-based tool.

•Collaborate with stakeholders to understand future business needs as they are defined.

•Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in JavaScript.

•Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.

•Participate in code reviews and provide technical recommendations.

Skills & Requirements:

•Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), with 4-7 years of experience.

•Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, or similar) is preferred.

•Good understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON).

•Ability to work independently and manage evolving requirements.

•Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

•Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing codebases.

Nice to Have:

•Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.

•Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases across production, development, and testing environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

•Manage Oracle GoldenGate implementations for real-time replication, data synchronization, and disaster recovery across heterogeneous environments.

•Design, monitor, and optimize replication processes, ensuring minimal latency and seamless data flow between source and target systems.

•Perform database backup, recovery, patching, and security administration in alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.

•Proactively monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement tuning strategies for SQL queries, indexes, and replication processes.

•Develop and maintain database documentation, including architecture diagrams, replication topologies, and operational procedures.

•Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to support database design, deployments, and upgrades.

•Conduct capacity planning, implement database partitioning strategies, and optimize storage management to ensure scalability.

•Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding sensitive information.

•Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical database and replication issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum business continuity.
