Responsibilities

• Review structural steel & metal works drawings, specifications, and designs to determine materials, steel grades, connections, and fabrication methods for accurate project analysis
• Measure steel sections, plates, bolts, and fittings including wastage allowances to perform precise quantity take-offs
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and project budgets covering fabrication, transport, erection, labor, and overheads
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes, negotiate rates, manage contract variations, and ensure compliance with project scope during tendering and contract management
• Track actual costs against estimates, manage progress claims, approve payments, and identify opportunities for cost savings to control project expenses
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to verify materials and fabrication meet specifications, incorporating rework or non-conformance costs into budgets
• Identify financial, material, and schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies to manage project changes effectively
• Maintain accurate records and prepare cost reports, forecasts, and final accounts to support management decision-making

Support procurement and office management functions to optimize material ordering, inventory control, and interdepartmental coordination within a construction-focused company.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate procurement procedures and systems to streamline processes across the group of companies
• Assist in ordering materials and ensure accurate matching of purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices
• Use Autocount Software to manage procurement and inventory data effectively
• Facilitate smooth and timely flow of information within the company to support business operations
• Coordinate with drivers to arrange timely pick-up and delivery of materials
• Monitor office supplies inventory and manage purchasing within budgetary limits
• Collaborate closely with Site Team, HR, and Accounts Department to ensure operational alignment

Job Summary

Lead project planning and supervision to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and safe completion of construction projects involving reinforced concrete, structural steel, and related trades.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor work progress at project sites to achieve timely and quality completion
• Ensure projects comply with budget, safety standards, and client requirements throughout execution
• Represent the company at site meetings and perform site measurements to support project accuracy
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications, and construction drawings to ensure alignment with project goals
• Prepare, manage, and submit all required project documentation to maintain project records and compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience in construction project management
• Strong knowledge of Main Contract Works including Reinforced Concrete, Structural Steel, Architectural, and M&E trades
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively
• Experience as a Senior Executive specializing in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to perform in a Project Management role overseeing multiple construction disciplines
• 6-day work week

Job Scope

• Prepare structural steel & metal works shop drawings for fabrication and site installation

• Prepare material lists (BOM) and basic connection details

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and fabricators

• Update drawings based on comments and site changes

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (or relevant experience)

• Experience in structural steel detailing

• Able to use Tekla / Advance Steel / AutoCAD

• Familiar with Singapore projects.
