Job Responsibilities:
▶️General Accounting Operations
• Manage the full sets of accounts, including AR, AP and GL.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Verify and review invoices before payment processing.
• Ensure invoices are properly recorded in the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure completeness of sales transactions recorded (receipt vouchers and journal vouchers).
• Assist with internal and external audits (including lease and assets documentation).
▶️Tax & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, withholding tax, corporate income tax and tax filings.
• Ensure accurate computation of tax liabilities and maintain supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with tax agents and auditors for statutory audits and tax submissions.
• Stay updated with changes in local tax and ensure the company complies with applicable financial regulations.
▶️Lease Accounting Specialists
• Maintain and update lease schedules in accordance with SFRS 116/ IFRS 16.
• Record and monitor lease liabilities, right-of-use (ROU) assets and lease related journal entries.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing for lease related accounts.
• Review lease contracts to extract relevant accounting information such as lease terms, payments, renewal options and escalation clauses.
• Draft and review financial statements and disclosures related to lease.
• Liaise with auditors on lease related matters.
Job Requirements:
• SINGAPOREANS ONLY
• Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or any related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Min. 3 years of proven work experiences (preferably in Manufacturing industry).
• Proficient with ACCPAC software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines.
• Willing to travel to company's office in Malaysia periodically (as required for financial review, audits and team meetings for quarterly/ year-end closing).
• Effective communications skills liaise with external audits.
