Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair and servicing process.
• Liaise closely with workshop technicians to review inspection findings and repair requirements.
• Evaluate whether repairs are chargeable, covered under warranty, or eligible for goodwill support.
• Generate accurate repair quotations and clearly explain technical findings, repair recommendations, timelines, and associated costs to customers.
• Accurately translate customer-reported issues into detailed, actionable work orders for the technician team.
• Monitor repair progress and coordinate with workshop colleagues to ensure jobs are completed within the committed timeline.
• Proactively provide customers with updates regarding repair status, additional findings, delays, or completion schedules.
• Prepare job cards, service reports, invoices, and related service documentation.
• Hand over completed vehicles to customers and explain the repairs carried out, along with any maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction by providing professional and responsive service.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in automotive service advisory, customer service, or a related field.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Good understanding of vehicle systems, servicing, and repair processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a professional, patient, and positive attitude.

What You’ll Do

• Claims Coordination

  • Liaise with insurers on claim submissions, documentation, and liability verification.

  • Track claim status, follow up proactively, and secure timely approvals.

• Estimation & Negotiation

  • Prepare and submit repair cost estimates with supporting documents/photos.

  • Negotiate coverage scope and repair costs with insurers/surveyors when required.

  • Finalise repair costs in collaboration with surveyors and workshop.

• Repair & Workshop Support

  • Coordinate repair workflow with workshop colleagues; ensure repair quality and documentation completeness.

  • Manage invoicing and paperwork for repairs and claims settlement.

• Customer & Case Management

  • Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders on claim processes, timelines, and required documents.

  • Arrange surveyor inspections and coordinate replacement vehicle release when needed.

  • Assist in managing accident-related phone calls and reporting of accidents.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records, filing, and reports for claims, estimates, invoices, and supporting documents.

  • Handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year experience in claims administration, motor insurance, accident reporting, or similar automotive/insurance operations role.

• Strong understanding of motor claim workflows, documentation requirements, and insurer coordination.

• Detail-oriented with good follow-up discipline and stakeholder management skills.

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. You will be the key link between our customers and workshop technicians, responsible for ensuring a seamless service experience from start to finish.

• Receive and review the customer’s service file from the front desk team.
• Conduct a detailed consultation with the customer to understand their concerns and issues.

  Premature or unexpected malfunction
• Liaise with workshop technicians for a technical review and inspection.
• Determine if repairs are:
  Chargeable (out of warranty or wear-related)
  Complimentary (under warranty or goodwill basis)
• Clearly explain technical issues and proposed solutions to customers.
• Provide cost estimates, obtain approval, and manage job authorisation.
• Track and update customers on job progress and estimated completion times.
• Prepare job cards, service reports, and final documentation.
• Coordinate smooth vehicle handover upon job completion.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.

Requirements

• Nitec in Automotive Engineering or equivalent qualification
• GCE ‘O’/‘N’/‘A’ Levels or Diploma holders welcome
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a service advisor or in customer service in an automotive environment
• Sound knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Well-organized, with good time management and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and workshop management systems
• Valid Class 3 driving licence

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
