Our backend teams span many domains across our essential service platforms. For instance, you might work on challenges such as:

• Problems that span from product to infrastructure including: distributed systems, at-scale service architecture and monitoring, workflow orchestration, and developer experience
• Build reliable, secure and high performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing humongous amount of data on cloud storage backends, e.g., AWS S3, GCS, Azure Blob Store
• Develop product features that empower our customers to easily store and access their data

What we look for:

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems

As a software engineer with a backend focus, you will work with your team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.

The impact you'll have:

Our backend teams span many domains, from our core compute fabric resource management infrastructure, to service platforms, to machine learning infrastructure. For instance, you might work on challenges such as:

• Resource management infrastructure powering the big data and machine learning workloads on the Databricks platform in a scalable, secure, and cloud-agnostic way

• Develop reliable, scalable services and client libraries that work with massive amounts of data on the cloud, across geographic regions and Cloud providers

• Build tools to allow Databricks engineers to operate their services across different clouds and environments

• Build services, products and infrastructure at the intersection of machine learning and distributed systems

What we look for:

This is an exciting sales role that will make an important impact on the revenue and expansion of our business. As an Named Hunter Account Executive your mission will be to grow some of our focus customers in Databricks. You know how to sell within a specific vertical domain and can guide deals forward to compress decision cycles. You love understanding a product in-depth and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners. • Evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark and launch the Databricks brand in Enterprise Accounts across all industries in ASEAN market
• Prospect, identify and source new sales opportunities, building pipeline individually and with the Databricks SDR team
