Key Responsibilities
· Cable Installation: Pulling, laying, and securing various types of cables (fiber optic, Cat6,Cat6a, etc.) within conduits, trays, and other cable management systems.
· Cable Termination: Assisting with the termination of cables at both ends, including patch panels, keystone jacks, and equipment.
· Cable Testing: Supporting the testing of installed cables using tools like cable testers to ensure proper connectivity and performance.
· Cable Labeling: Labeling cables according to project specifications for easy identification.
· Site Preparation: Preparing and maintaining the work site, including organizing tools and materials.
· Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Assisting Skilled Technicians: Providing general support to technicians and engineers during installation and troubleshooting processes.
· Material Handling: Transporting and organizing cabling materials and equipment on-site.
· Documentation Support: Assisting in maintaining accurate records of installed cables and work completed.
· Pulling and Routing Cables: Assist in pulling and routing cables through conduits, raceways, ceilings, and other structures according to blueprints and project plans.
