Reporting To: Key Accounts Manager
Role Overview
1. Support the Key Accounts Manager in managing supermarket and retail chain customers.
2. Assist with daily sales operations, order follow-up, customer coordination, and outlet visits.
3. Ensure products are delivered on time, displayed well, and meet customer quality standards.
4. Help grow sales through good service, strong follow-up, and coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in handling supermarket accounts and daily customer requirements.
2. Follow up on customer orders, delivery schedules, product availability, and pricing updates.
3. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, operations, and quality control teams.
4. Prepare quotations, price lists, product information, promotion details, and sales documents.
5. Monitor orders and help resolve shortages, delivery issues, claims, returns, and complaints.
6. Visit supermarket outlets to check freshness, display, stock levels, pricing, and competitor activity.
7. Work with merchandisers and store teams to improve product presentation and availability.
8. Collect market feedback and update the Key Accounts Manager on issues, opportunities, and competitor movements.
9. Support product launches, seasonal programs, festive promotions, and in-store activities.
10. Assist with sales reports, customer updates, stock movement, and promotional results.
11. Follow up on payment matters, customer documents, product specifications, and account administration when required.
12. Maintain good relationships with customers, store teams, and internal departments.
13. Identify opportunities to introduce new products or improve sales performance.
14. Ensure customer requirements, company procedures, and food safety standards are followed.
Requirements
1. Diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field.
2. Experience in sales, customer service, account servicing, FMCG, retail, food distribution, or fresh produce is preferred.
3. Fresh graduates with good attitude and willingness to learn may be considered.
4. Basic understanding of fruits, vegetables, supermarket operations, or perishable goods is an advantage.
5. Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
7. Responsible, proactive, and willing to visit outlets regularly.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email, and basic office software.
9. Willing to travel for customer and outlet visits.
