Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with suppliers and contractors for competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchase materials as required.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors on material orders and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and PO documentation.
• Resolve purchasing issues, including order discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Attend project meetings and support ad-hoc administrative and procurement duties.

Job Description

• Reads tender documents and conduct sourcing according to the project agreed specifications and requirements.
• Preparation of bid analysis, purchase orders and tracking of the equipment, materials and services procured.
• Co-ordinate between suppliers and internal departments/project teams to ensure specifications are met and in compliance with client requirements.
• Responsible for the performance of vendors, procurement planning, product quality and timely delivery
• Analyze and recommend alternative procurement routes and vendors
• Provide data for relevant decision making at top management level
• Provide technical expertise in the development and improvement of products, process & materials specifications with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new parts supplier to improve supply chain network
• Execute purchasing activities
• Support in Company winning projects by securing the most competitive offers from the suppliers

Skills & Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any other engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Knowledge in SAP Business one preferred
• Positive attitude, good negotiation skill and self-motivated

To fully manage procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, analyzing data to solve purchasing challenges, preparing purchase orders, estimating material needs, and monitoring inventory to ensure timely availability

• Locate and evaluate sources of supply to secure competitive prices for purchasing
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best bids and terms for materials
• Analyze procurement information and evaluate results to select optimal purchasing solutions and resolve issues
• Prepare, review, and process requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timely
• Estimate material quantities to forecast present and future availability needs
• Monitor inventory movement and initiate material orders to maintain adequate stock levels
• Work independently to organize procurement tasks and communicate effectively to achieve purchasing goals
• Apply initiative and critical thinking to improve procurement processes and outcomes
• Adapt to changes and new responsibilities with flexibility and diligence
