Altus Group is currently looking for a manager to join our Singapore office in our Valuation AdvisoryServices, APAC business. The successful candidate will manage a team of 7#based in Singapore. The Manager will be responsible for managing the dailyworkflow through interaction with clients, subordinates and supervisors.Responsibility includes the quarterly valuation process of institutional realestate funds, which includes managing all aspects of the valuation managementprocess & real estate investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

·       Manage a team and the deliveryof projects/engagements to the highest quality of service and technicalexcellence.

·       Conducting reviews of externalthird party commercial real estate valuations across APAC.

·       Reviewing market data andapplying judgement to determine reasonableness of valuations assumptions usedin deriving a Market Value opinion.

·       Analysing and reviewing ARGUS,FORBURY and/or MS-Excel based valuations models for accuracy andreasonableness.

·       Review work by junior staffbefore it is sent to clients or third parties.

·       Provide daily supervision,direction, coaching and mentoring to junior staff.

·       Discuss and resolve anyconcerns with clients and third-party appraisers.

·       Manage client communicationsthroughout the valuation management engagement. Create and review portfolio metric presentations.

·       Advise new clients on settingup the valuation management process.

·       Set procedures for training ofclients and third parties as and when required.

·       Develops relationships withclients and other industry participants.

·       Is accessible and responsive toclient needs.

Position Requirements

The preferred candidate will possess thefollowing skills and attributes:

·       University degree in realestate, finance, or related field is required.

·       Fully qualified, MRICS orequivalent professional qualification.

·       Fully versed in IVS/RICS Global(Red Book) Valuation Standards.

·       8+ years commercial real estatevaluation experience, with any current or prior exposure in a valuation firm(e.g. CBRE, JLL, C&W, Knight Frank, Savills) being a plus.

·       Expertise with financialmodelling skills for commercial property type in ARGUS Enterprise, FORBURY andMS-Excel.

·       Strong communication skills.

·       Strong project managementskills: setting team/client deliverable goals, managing deadlines, creatingplans and evaluating results, communicating at-risk tasks

·       Experience with clientdeliverable life cycle and proven record of successful management of clientdeliverables.

·       High attention to detail.

·       High level of integrity andintellectual curiosity.

·       Languages: Fluency in Englishwith any other additional Asian languages being an advantage.

FSI Digital Natives Solutions Architects (SA) work closely with technical decision maker, co-founders, engineers and developers to help them make the most of the Cloud. They are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with organizations at all stages of cloud adoption. Our Solutions Architects also take a leading role in creating and presenting technical content and best practices.

THE ROLE

You will collaborate with customers, partners and other AWS teams to craft architectures, proof of concepts and demonstrations of our platform that work back from customer's business needs and accelerate the adoption of appropriate AWS technology. You will help shape and design solutions covering a spread of tech concerns like security, tenant isolation in compute and storage, hybrid networking, CI/CD to reduce time to market, rightsizing and auto-scaling of infrastructure, purpose-built databases to name a few. The ability to learn new technology and develop industry relevant architectures and convey business value is critical to the role.

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes
• Drive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical business problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
• Scope and own each customer engagement, with attention towards clear and well- defined objectives and success criteria
• Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, Customer Solution Managers and consulting/managed services partners)
• Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops

Basic qualifications

• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients/business partners/stakeholders/customers who predominantly communicate in Mandarin

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
