About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated project engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects specialize in contract manufacturing in medical device, from conception through to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with min. 4 years of experience in engineering and construction, preferably within the railway industry.

Job Description

• Ability to understand and convert client’s Project requirements into the required plan to be executed by the project team
• Experience in Engineering and Construction works, preferably in the railway industry in Singapore or Malaysia
• Familiarity in the use of Risk and Product Management Software.
• Good knowledge of Project management processes & practices.
• Familiarity in Risk Analysis
• Ability to manage all aspects of contract document management system
• Ability to manage contracts, submittals, transmittals, change management etc.
• Experience in producing monthly and weekly reports for the construction works
• Experience in trouble shooting the problems
• Good customer management skills.
• Planning and configuration to suit customer needs

• Prepared to make site visits when required

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with consultants, Resident Engineers, Clerks of Works, and licensed surveyors on construction activities, inspections, and site setting-out matters
• Coordinate closely with Architectural and M&E teams to resolve interface issues related to reinforced concrete and structural steel works.
• Execute construction activities in accordance with project plans, environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements, and quality standards established by project management.
• Supervise and guide site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out safely, accurately, and within project timelines.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and coordinate site activities to support smooth project progress and compliance with construction schedules.
• Ensure subcontractors are provided with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and technical information.
• Maintain proper site housekeeping and ensure compliance with workplace safety practices.
• Monitor and inspect construction equipment and machinery to ensure they are properly maintained and operational.
• Attend consultant meetings, technical discussions, and subcontractor coordination meetings as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and BIM software is an advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site-based environment.
