Assisting and working under the direction of the Project Manager and Senior Project Engineer:

1) Project Planning and Progress Controlling – Collaborates with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines. Understand the specific requirements of the project.

2) Design and Engineering – Collaborates with the design team to ensure that the designs are workable and meet technical specifications.

3) Safety and Compliance – Ensures all work carried out follows the safety regulations and industry best practices.

4) Quality Control – Monitors the work quality, conducts inspections and ensures that the work carried out meets the required quality standards.

5) Procurement - Plans the hand tools, materials, and other equipment procurement required for the project.

6) Resource Management - Responsible for coordinating resources, including general labor, equipment and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

7) Problem Solving – Plays an important role in identifying and resolving any problems and issues arising on site.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Be the System Owner of the subsystems and responsible for issue resolution from the beginning of the project including detail engineering phase, until completion and handover

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager / Asst Project Manager in leading and managing the project on site and updating of project plan, progress and final reports needed for the periodic management meetings.
• Prepare costing during quotation stage, plan and manage project budget including selection and management of sub-contractors.
• Monitor compliance of all project manpower, including sub-contractors on the shipyard management system and achieve the objectives and targets related to quality, occupational health, safety, security and environment.

Perform delay analysis and mitigate deviations

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Civil / Building projects
