Job Responsibilities:

• Handle company sales account, technical system sales / product sales, calibration and in-house services sales.
• Perform sales activities to meet corporate objectives & targets including sales visits, prepare quotations / proposals, product & proposal presentation,  negotiations and closing of sales.
• To do cold-calling to market wide range of company product & services
• Provide timely response to product information and RFQ
• Build and maintain business relationship with customers and vendors
• Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
• Providing and meeting revenue targets.
• Support all marketing activities.
• Responsible to achieve sales target set for area of responsibilities by the  Management
• Planning and report of weekly sales calls and forecast, in line with the targets given
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 years of relevant working experience in technical sales
• Familiarity with hydraulics is an advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge in using AutoCAD and Solidworks is an advantage
• Preferably with a valid driving license or reliable transport or willingness to travel frequently, as Customer site visits are required.

About the Role

Our client is an organization embarking on a landmark digital transformation initiative — building a next-generation, whole-of-government (WOG) procurement platform that will reshape how public officers and external suppliers conduct procurement across the entire Singapore public sector.

As Senior Enterprise Software Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader who owns broad, complex engineering domains end-to-end. You will drive architectural standards, mentor junior engineers, manage vendor quality, and ensure the platform is resilient, secure, and built to last.

What You'll Do

Technical Delivery & Architecture

• Lead product development, system integration, and architecture design for large-scale, high-availability enterprise applications used across government
• Implement complex workflows, multi-object data models, and platform extensions independently
• Proactively reduce platform debt and resolve multi-module production bottlenecks
• Safely manage complex data migrations with strict pre-checks, reconciliation protocols, and backout plans
• Document architectural trade-offs using Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)

Governance, Standards & Vendor Management

• Review vendor-delivered configurations against agreed engineering standards
• Define acceptance criteria covering test evidence, security checks, and deployment readiness
• Maintain a Vendor Quality Log to track and prevent recurring engineering gaps
• Lead configuration reviews and enforce naming conventions, design patterns, and code reuse
• Establish mandatory review checklists for high-impact changes (permissions, data models, integration touchpoints)
• Review all configurations for security risks and ensure strict alignment with government compliance and data classification requirements

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and actionable engineering tasks
• Mentor junior engineers through structured feedback, regular check-ins, and hands-on problem-solving support
• Champion an automation-first culture to elevate Developer Experience (DevX) and reduce delivery risk
• Drive CI/CD pipeline maturity, automated testing, and safe integration patterns
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and constructively challenge the status quo

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps software engineering experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Proven track record on large-scale, high-availability enterprise systems
• Proficiency in modern front-end and back-end web technologies: Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, Node.js, CSS
• Experience with ETL pipelines and AWS for complex data migrations
• Familiarity with SaaS, Bespoke, and COTS solution development
• Strong automation expertise across the development lifecycle (test automation, infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation)
• Solid understanding of public sector data protection, privacy regulations, and compliance requirements

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with Procurement and/or ERP SaaS platforms (e.g. Ivalua or equivalent)
• Direct hands-on experience with GCC (Government Commercial Cloud), SHIP-HATS, and the SG Tech Stack (SGTS)
• Prior experience delivering within Singapore public sector or government-adjacent environments
