• Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Fleet Manager.
• Approve spares, stores, repairs, and emergency purchases for assigned vessels within authorised limits.
• Recommend crew promotion, transfer, and repatriation matters.
• Review and approve repair and dry-docking invoices upon management approval.
• Conduct performance appraisals for senior ship staff and provide recommendations to the Fleet Manager.
• Undertake additional responsibilities delegated by management.

Qualifications

• Possess Chief Engineer Class 1 / Motor Unlimited Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Minimum 2 years of sailing experience on tanker vessels, preferably Oil, Chemical, LNG, or LPG tankers
• Prior experience as a Technical Superintendent or in tanker vessel management is advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge of tanker operations, dry docking, planned maintenance systems (PMS), and vessel maintenance

• Take charge of resolving design conflicts and site-specific technical challenges by collaborating closely with Architectural and M&E teams, consultants, and authorities.
• Evaluate and manage technical inquiries by issuing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Approval (RFA) to clarify design ambiguities.
• Drive and assess value engineering initiatives aimed at optimizing cost-efficiency, site safety, constructability, and overall project quality.

Job Requirements:

• At least Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in construction or engineering consultancy environment.
• Familiar with local building codes, authority regulations and construction methodologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical delivery of IT infrastructure and system implementation projects, ensuring deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements

• Act as the primary technical lead for system deployment, integration, testing, commissioning, and operational handover activities

• Work closely with Project Managers, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define technical requirements, implementation plans, and project milestones

• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure technical deliverables, installation quality, and project timelines are achieved

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, technical best practices, and system reliability enhancements across projects

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security, or a related discipline

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems integration, system deployment, or project implementation environments

• Proven experience leading technical delivery of enterprise IT projects involving infrastructure, networking, databases, and system integration

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux operating systems, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure

• Strong experience in SQL database administration, SQL Server Management Studio, database design, and query troubleshooting

• Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and network troubleshooting

• Experience with cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability assessments, security hardening, and compliance requirements

• The System Engineer of System Operation is responsible to support the well running of enterprise system for the entire property. 
• This role requires an experienced system operation engineer with in-depth enterprise system technical expertise to operate the System Services. This role must also possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with various IT teams such as project managers, management and business leaders. 

Scope of Work:·  

• Reporting to the Senior Systems Manager, this role will be to support all aspects of the system operation services &ensure highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. 
• Provide support to all the Systems of the organization in Physical and Virtual Systems (Windows & Linux), InfraServices – Dir Services, Exchange, Share Point, System Centre Services, Storage and Backup.
• Knowledge of Database Services, Oracle Database& Microsoft SQL Database Administration.
• Identify and implement improvements on the operational monitors to measure system performance and capacity metrics.
• Work closely with Support vendor to support the IT Systems and Application according to the contractual requirement.
• Support 24x7 hours business operation, after office hours on-call support is expected.(Post implementation support)

Key Qualifications/Requirements: ·  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent experience. 
• More than 5 years of Enterprise IT experience including 3 years in Direct Systems Operation. 
• ITIL certification would be advantageous. 
• Experienced working in large and complex Systems Operation environment advantageous.
• Demonstrated advance technical skills in supporting enterprise systems operation, current and emerging technologies, and collaboration skills to work with diversified work groups. 
• In-depth System technical skills across multiple disciplines – x86 Platforms, Physical and Virtual Systems, Windows, Unix/Linux,MS SQL, Oracle, SAN Storage, SCCM, Backup, High Availability System and DR readiness, inter-network knowledge.

• Experience in handling support & installation for Finacle 10.x environments including troubleshooting and configuring new services

• Proficient in N-tier architecture for Finacle, high availability concepts
• Proficient in writing SQL queries in Oracle/PostgreSQL for troubleshooting issues and preparing data for issue analysis and reporting
• Hands on with Unix/Linux commands
• Basic proficiency in Middleware technologies like WebSphere Application Server and JBOSS
• Hands on experience in automating some of the routine tasks in environment management
• Experienced in handling patching of Finacle, OS, MW and database components. Should be able to perform impact assessment and co-ordinate the tasks with various supporting units like OS support, DB support, Middleware support, etc.
• Familiar with environment maintenance tasks like source refresh across environments, data refresh across environments and familiar with CICD concepts
