About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our mobile app teams at Dyson. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a balance of technical excellence, team development, and stakeholder management.

You will be responsible for driving the delivery of high-quality mobile experiences while building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. You are equally comfortable contributing to technical discussions, guiding architecture decisions, and working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver impact.

Our Tech
Our mobile apps are built using modern native technologies across Android and iOS, with a strong emphasis on scalability, modular architecture, and maintainability.

On Android, we use Kotlin with MVVM architecture, Jetpack libraries, and coroutines for asynchronous programming. On iOS, we follow modern Swift-based development practices with well-defined architectural patterns.

We integrate with cloud services using robust networking layers and work closely with IoT platforms to deliver seamless connected experiences.

Our teams place a strong emphasis on testing, code quality, and continuous improvement of our development practices and tooling.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading and mentoring a team of mobile engineers, supporting their growth, performance, and career development

• Driving delivery of features and improvements, ensuring high standards of quality, scalability, and reliability

• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, QA, and engineering teams across cloud and embedded domains

• Owning technical direction and contributing to architecture and design decisions

• Remaining hands-on where needed, contributing to code, reviews, and problem-solving

• Balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term technical health and maintainability

• Establishing and improving engineering processes, practices, and team ways of working

About you

• You have strong experience in native mobile development (Android and/or iOS), with a solid understanding of modern architectures and best practices

• You have experience leading or mentoring engineers, with a focus on building high-performing, collaborative teams

• You are comfortable operating across both technical and people leadership responsibilities

• You have experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and aligning engineering work with product goals

• You bring a pragmatic approach to delivery, balancing speed with quality and long-term sustainability

About the role

As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer (Platform) within the Connected Cloud department, you’ll get to work with a broad range of systems and technologies. The Platform Team is responsible for automating, designing, building, and supporting services and tools that the other Cloud Service Engineers use to deploy, manage, and monitor their services though our delivery pipelines to production.

We leverage AWS services along with other software such as:

• Artifactory to host our build artifacts

• AWS EC2, ECS and Lambda to run our services

• Grafana for monitoring our systems health

• Azure for CI/CD orchestration

• OpenSearch and for log file and systems analysis

• Python, C#, and node.js to create our services

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with Cloud developers to define and deploy scalable cloud environments (compute, storage, networking) using CloudFormation.

• Collaborate with developers to set up and optimize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment. Implement IAM to enforce security policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Work with Cloud engineers to enhance monitoring for system health, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize resource usage to control costs. Define, deploy, and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies for business continuity.

• Work with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in an agile environment.

• Identify new technologies, tools, and approaches to continually improve cloud standards, resilience, and cost.

• Deploy and maintain a robust incident process for fast containment, comprehensive post-mortems, and resolution.

About you

• Must be comfortable with the command line, file systems and basic server administration

• Understanding of networking basics such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, subnets and firewalls is fundamental

• Good working knowledge of AWS and hands on experience with deployment and configuration of AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, API Gateways and etc)

• Working knowledge with CI/CD techniques and tooling

• Provision in scripting using languages such as Python, Yaml and etc is critical to support automation and managing of infrastructure

• Worked or familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) especially AWS CloudFormation

• OpenSearch / ELK. Or someone who has experience with working with Logging tools

• Monitoring services like Grafana. Exp in integration with Cloud

• AWS Core network concepts like VPC, VPN, API Gateway, VPC Peering, SDWAN integration in AWS, Security Groups, Communication between AWS environments

• General CI/CD concepts. Integration of third-party tools with AWS

• IAM Role/Users, Cross account roles

• Any AWS Cost Savings experiences

• Working experience with ECS

• Exposure to Agile working practices

The Technical Program Management (TPM) team oversees end to end delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. The TPM assesses project complexity, allocates resources, and drives cross‑functional engineering alignment through structured checkpoints, weekly reviews, and close collaboration with Operations. They manage CAPEX, ensure functional milestones are met, and navigate a fast‑paced environment to deliver optimal, timely solutions. TPMs are proactive team players who steer coordination, make tough decisions, and support DF(X) and design‑to‑cost initiatives to achieve project goals.

About the role

• Lead a team of NPI project managers across multiple categories globally.

• Drive enterprise level cost saving initiatives spanning manufacturing, engineering, tooling, paint, and test functions.

• Act as primary contacts for major cost-saving projects at the enterprise level.

• Strategize and resource global manufacturing NPD (New Product Development) delivery, ensuring TPMs support each project.

• Provide technical guidance and coaching for the TPM team.

• Success requires a collaborative, proactive mindset—no strict boundaries, always ready to exceed expectations.

NPI Project Management Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of NPI project managers from project initiation through installation and the first three months of mass production.

• Oversee all key aspects of NPI projects, including:

• Technical delivery milestones

• End to end project planning

• CAPEX management

• DF(X) and cost-focused design reviews

• Assess project complexity and develop department resource plans, securing approval and collaboration from all Engineering functions.

• Set project checkpoints and actively engage stakeholders to achieve buy in at each stage.

• Drive alignment across engineering functions, ensuring clear deliverables and timely contributions including input from design teams.

• Guarantee that all teams integrate the required protocols (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ, DFM, Mold flow analysis) into their plans.

• Align regularly with Operations Management regarding project deliverables and expectations.

• Conduct periodic NPI reviews with the TPMs, summarizing progress and challenges for senior leadership.

• Build strong relationships with non-engineering teams critical to NPI success, such as RDD, Operations and outsourced procurement.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project tracker, monitoring health, timelines, capital spend, and potential risks.

• Foster a positive, collaborative cross functional environment.

• Provide manufacturing and operations insights to the project team, acting as an escalation point and resolving challenges as needed.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.

• Shows a strong willingness to learn and challenge current production test and assembly methods.

• Demonstrates solid engineering judgment applied beyond their main area of expertise.

• Has managed a team of at least 5 people, directly or indirectly.

• Works well independently with minimal supervision.

• Able to travel frequently to Malaysia.

• Has at least eight years of relevant experience in NPI environments.

• Experienced in regulated settings, following or establishing protocols like IQ, OQ, and PQ.

• Understands the challenges of outsourced operations.

• PMP certification is an advantage.

As a Software DevOps Architect, you will design and build custom integrations, automation services and platform components that make the SDLC toolchain scalable, secure and efficient.

Acting as a developer platform product engineer, you will remove manual effort, reduce human error and improve productivity by translating operational pain points into robust, Python‑based automation and services. You’ll work across software, embedded, hardware and power systems engineering teams to deliver reliable, self‑service tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping solutions by analysing workflows, support tickets and tooling gaps
• Designing maintainable architectures for automation services, middleware and self‑service platforms
