Responsibilities:

The Early Intervention for Children (EIC) Services helps equip children with motor, communication, social, self-help and cognitive skills. THK EIC involves structuring classes around small groups encompassing early childhood special education, social work and therapy support services to stimulate their adaptive functioning and school readiness skills.

The successful incumbent will oversee the Social Work Department in their assigned centre(s) and work towards achieving the Centre's mission and vision by having close partnership with the Therapy Department, Teaching Department, Administrative Department and families of the children.

1. Social Work Practice and Case Management Oversight

• Support and guide Social Workers in participating in case discussions, case conferences and transdisciplinary meetings.

• Ensure effective engagement with parents and caregivers to support their understanding of their child's developmental needs and the intervention programme.

• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with community agencies such as Family Service Centres (FSCs), Social Service Offices (SSOs) and other relevant organisations to support integrated care for children and families.

5. Programme Development and Family Engagement

• Guide and support the Social Work team in planning and facilitating family-focused programmes such as Parent Orientation, Parent Support Groups and Sibling Workshops.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree or Post Graduate Qualifications in Social Work

• Manage and file physical invoices, receipt (if applicable) per compliance requirement. Provide access to auditors upon request.  

• Coordinate with relevant parties to support invoice and receipt processing e.g., call travel agent (AR) to follow up remittance advice / follow up long outstanding invoice (if applicable).  

  Procure To Pay (PTP)  

• Review, follow up on, and/or settle AP-or purchasing-related open items as shown in the reports shared by BPO team; (e.g. open cash advances, outstanding balances and/or against prepayment ratio, direct AP ratio) to ensure clearance, proper documentation, and compliance with policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

·      Pre-U/’A’ Level, Diploma / Certificate in Accountancy, Finance or its equivalent

·      Minimum 1-2 years working experience

·      A good team player with good interpersonal skills

·      Well-versed in MSoffice, especially MS Excel and Word

·      Working knowledge of SAP (will be an added advantage)

·      Good working attitude and keen learner
