Sales Manager – Aluminium Company (Job Scope)

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
• Identify new market opportunities (residential, commercial, landed, A&A projects)
• Build and expand client base including developers, architects, main contractors, and consultants
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments

2. Client Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Attend meetings, site visits, and presentations with clients, architects, and consultants
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable aluminium solutions (windows, doors, curtain wall, etc.)
• Handle client feedback, negotiations, and after-sales follow-ups

3. Tendering & Quotation

• Lead tender submissions and pricing strategies
• Review drawings, specifications, and BOQ for aluminium works
• Coordinate with QS and technical team for accurate costing and proposal preparation
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients

4. Project Coordination (Pre & Post Sales)

• Work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Participate in project handover from sales to project team
• Monitor project progress and ensure client expectations are met
• Resolve commercial or contractual issues during project execution

5. Sales Target & Performance Management

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis
• Track conversion rates from leads to awarded projects

6. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor sales executives
• Set KPIs and monitor team performance
• Provide training on product knowledge and sales techniques

7. Technical & Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong understanding of aluminium systems:Curtain wall systemsAluminium windows & doorsLouvers, railings, façade systems
• Liaise with suppliers and system providers for technical updates
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations

8. Networking & Industry Engagement

• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking sessions
• Build relationships with architects, developers, and consultants
• Promote company branding and reputation in the market

Key Skills Required

• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Technical understanding of aluminium / façade systems

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of electrical and power backup system projects (e.g., UPS, generators, battery storage systems)

• Plan, schedule, and execute projects in line with client requirements and technical specifications

• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout project lifecycle

• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of systems

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success

Requirements

As an Engineering Manager on the ASE Commerce - Subscriptions team, you'll lead the evolution of Apple's subscription ecosystem in an increasingly competitive landscape. You'll build and guide a team that develops services and application components shared across applications, supporting massive scale while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and security. You'll contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of top-level user-visible features, with an emphasis on identifying reusable components across different scenarios and domains. Minimum Qualifications

• Comfortable splitting time between hands-on coding and team leadership responsibilities
• Experience mentoring and coaching engineers, with a focus on technical growth and code quality
• Interest in growing engineering talent through 1:1s, career development conversations, and feedback
• Demonstrated ability to provide constructive code reviews and technical guidance to team members
• Ability to jump into debugging sessions and help unblock team members
• Comfortable taking ownership and providing technical direction, especially when requirements are ambiguous
• Strong object-oriented design skills with experience building maintainable, extensible systems
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable, secure RESTful web services

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior engineering management experience is a plus, but not required for exceptional technical leaders

• Familiarity with Agile and Sprint Planning techniques
• Expertise with NoSQL data stores like Solr, Elastic Search, Redis, Memcached, Cassandra, Voldemort, etc.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and debugging production systems

• Strong knowledge of MOM, WSH regulations, and LTA specifications, with proven experience in LTA or main contractor projects (MRT, road, tunnel, viaduct, depot works).
