• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with two years of experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Specialised expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields.

• Hotel experience preferred.

• Professional certification and licence if required by law. 

• Should have understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts. 

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.   

• Must be available to respond to emergencies when not physically at the job site.   

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (speak, read, write) with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.   

• Ability to work a variety of varying schedules.  

• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.

1. Senior Design Engineer (Electrical) /Up to $7,500 Basic + $250 Transport Allowance @Jurong East

• Design & produce electrical drawings, BOM and documentation.

• Study the ISO standards and various regions standards & generator controlleralternator concepts.

• Work with procurement & manufacturing team to qualify suppliers/parts & electrical installations.

• Work with Industrial/sales to understand design requirements & provide response to tender submission.

• Testing & validation of design including parameter optimization for controllers, governors, AVR, PLCs, HMI. 

• Design & Program various controllers, PLCs, HMI and support onsite/remote troubleshooting.

• Lead in continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve work efficiency.

• Managing, training, developing and mentoring junior engineers.

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical with 7-10 years of relevant experience

• Experience in using SEE electrical software, process change management tools and methodologies.
