KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Equipment and tool & jig design, assembly, and installation with mechanical and product specification, followed by test, debug, troubleshooting and hand over to end user.

Responsibilities

• Performs under the general direction of the Engineering department head.
• Work with Customers and Company counterparts on mechanical assembly design as well as the applications.
• Study and analyze customer design requirement, specifications, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and tooling/equipment requirements.
• Design new products using 3D CAD and perform FEA modelling.
• Design jig & fixture for new product whenever necessary.

Responsible for managing and resolving non-conformance issues identified by the In-Process Quality Assurance(IPQA) team during production. This role ensures compliance with quality standards, drives root cause analysis, implements corrective and preventive actions, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Non-Conformance Management and Improvement

• Receive and review non-conformance reports(NCRs).

• Classify non-conformance by severity(critical, major, minor) and impact on product quality.

• Initiate containment actions to prevent further defects, coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.

• Analyze NCR trends and identify systemic issues, recommend process or equipment improvement.

Root Cause Analysis

• To plan, monitor and track the day-to-day engineering activities and contractor’s site progress

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in the preparation and maintaining the Project job file, data books, drawings, specification lists, lists of required design data and design change notices;
• Assists in preparing Piping material specifications, pipe stress, pipe support specifications
• Assists in preparing Plot plan and Equipment layout drawings;
• Prepare / Review Piping General Arrangement drawings;
• Prepare / Review isometric drawings and vessel trim drawings;
• Prepares Tie-in List and Tie-in Location plan;
• Performs pipe stress analysis for critical lines;
• Review of standard Pipe support and Piping detail drawings;
• Conducts material take-offs and compile Piping Bill of material;
• Prepares material requisition for Manual valve, Bulk Pipe/fitting and Specialty item;
• Assists in preparation of Piping subcontract requisition.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in Engineering design firm of Petrochemical, Refinery and Chemical plant preferred
• Experience in Space management, Plant design and Piping engineering work
• Good understanding of Equipment/Piping layout
• Design and construction experience in Petrochemical, Refinery and chemical industry preferred
• Experience in Plant Design and Piping engineering works
• Basic understanding of Equipment/Piping layout and space management

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the Extra-Low Voltage systems design on assigned large scale projects during the tender, design, procurement, construction, commissioning until finale client acceptance phase
• Design of control systems, instrumentation, cabling and cable support systems for Process equipment, Industrial Facilities and Commercial Buildings, with the support of Lead Engineer, if necessary
• Design of Life Safety System comprising of Public Address Systems, Access control, Closed Circuit, Gas Detection and Fire Alarm systems with the support of a Lead Engineer if necessary
• Design of Information Technology cabling System with the support of a Lead Engineer if necessary
• Develop P&IDs, Instruments and IO list, Sequence of Operations, Logic Diagrams, Cause and effect matrices with the support of Lead Engineer if necessary
• Develop / Execute / Expedite ELV packages during design, procurement, construction phase of a project and taking responsibility for the assigned packages
• Co-ordination and scheduling activities for the ELV supervisors on a project to ensure timely delivery at project milestone dates
• Interfacing with other trades during design phase and incorporate their requirements into the ELV systems design
• Technical Evaluation of vendor submission including approval of shop drawings
• Preparing the procedure for testing and commissioning of individual system and manage subcontractor during commissioning of the Extra Low Voltage systems
• Guiding ELV engineers / Designer / Draftsman for preparing cable routing plan, hookup drawings, wiring drawings, cable schedule, Junction Box schedule, Instrument Air manifold schedule, Block diagrams, P&IDs, Control System Schematic

Job Requirements

• Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering 
• At least 8 years of experience in design and construction
• Experience in design, installation, programming, commissioning of Process and Building control systems
• Experience in design, selection, installation, commissioning of Instrumentation for Process and Building control systems   
• Experience in Extra Low Voltage Systems such as Fire Alarm, Security systems, IT data network
• Experience in Advanced Technology Facilities, Life Science & Chemicals, Energy & Environment Technologies, High Tech Infrastructure, Process Automation, Products and Services
• Experience in construction management
