Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering, deployment, and support services for system and network infrastructure across security-focused projects ranging from small-scale implementations to large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with solution architects to develop and execute optimal system and network designs in both physical and virtualized infrastructures.
• Serve as the technical escalation point and subject matter expert for system security, network architecture, implementation, and operational issues.
• Lead the deployment of new network and system solutions in partnership with project managers, while engaging and coordinating with customers, telecommunications providers, and technology partners.
• Conduct system and network hardening activities, validate security configurations, and maintain accurate baseline configuration and technical documentation.
• In charge ad-hoc maintenance activities, migrations or disaster recovery
• Involve in compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies, standards and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution with 5 or more years of relevant working experience
• Strong experience in Windows, Linux and Vmware/HyperV systems
• Strong experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN, switching/routing, load balancers and proxies
• Experience in windows server domain environment such as active directory, group policies, DNS/DHCP and SCCM etc.
• Hands-on experience in system and network security-related tasks such as hardening, patching, capacity planning and design
• In-depth knowledge in network and systems security
• Experience in scripting, resource capacity planning and system design will be an added advantage

2nd level end users support and daily IT operation

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, AKS, App Services, networking, storage, security)
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize workloads
• Automate infrastructure using Jenkins, PowerShell, Azure CLI scripting  
• End-user support and escalation
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards. Like MAS TRM, PCI-DSS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience: 5-6 years or above relevant experience in Azure
• Azure Application Services
• Azure Gateway and Load Balancing
• Azure Networking (TCP/IP subnetting, VoIP, VNet Peering, S2S & P2S VPN)
• Azure CLI, PowerShell, YAML or others automation scripting
• Experience in Cloudflare DNS and Web Application Firewall
• Experience in cloud and network monitoring (Azure monitor, Log Analytics, Dynatrace, Grafana, PRTG) 
• Experience in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) & Container
• Experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform)
• Experience in Visual Studio Code, Docker, OpenLens tools
• Experience in support Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 suite
• Good troubleshooting and operational support skills
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• Preferred Academic & Certification
• Microsoft Certificate: Azure Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect or above. Foundational certs will be considered if coupled with reasonable experience with Azure or Microsoft server product.
• Others relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC) are a plus.
