Roles & Responsibilities

CorporateTax

• Assist and support in providing tax compliance services to clients operating in various industries
• Review and offer recommendations on client agreements or documents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Prepare clients’ corporate and individual tax returns, including estimated chargeable income filing and withholding tax returns
• Assist clients in responding to queries from the tax authorities
• Attend to queries from clients and other matters relating to the client portfolio
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

GST

• Applying for GST registration/de-registration
• Preparing, reviewing and filing GST quarterly returns
• Assisting clients to apply for certain GST relief schemes
• Attending to GST queries raised by IRAS
• Making voluntary disclosure of errors to IRAS
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline, preferably with an SCTP-recognized professional qualification.
• At least 1-3 years relevant experience, ideally within a professional services or accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Eager to learn and able to work independently under pressure
• Positive attitude, meticulous and someone with initiative
• Possess strong honesty, integrity and confidentiality
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Team Player
• Able to meet tight schedule

Requirements

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards,tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records,managing payroll, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely submissionof GST and other regulatory filings via relevant government portals.

On the job support and training is available to fresh graduates.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Records

• Maintain full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

2. Payroll Administration

• Process monthly payroll in compliance with Singapore employment laws
• Ensure accurate computation of salaries, CPF contributions, and statutory deductions
• Handle IR8A preparation and submission
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality

3. GST & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and submit GST returns (F5/F7) via IRAS myTax Portal
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations in Singapore
• Assist with corporate tax filings and liaise with external tax agents if required
• Keep up to date with changes in Singapore tax laws and accounting regulations

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist in budgeting and cash flow forecasting
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
• Support year-end closing and audit processes

5. Administrative & Other Duties

• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Support implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes

Preferred Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fielf
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards (SFRS) and local tax regulations
• Experience with GST submission and IRAS compliance requirements
• Familiarity with CPF contributions and payroll regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience handling full sets of accounts
• Knowledge of ACRA compliance requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and accounts support to Seniors, including reconciliation of sales and purchase invoices against accounting software, credit card platforms, and bank statements
• Prepare payment advice and supporting documents as requested by clients
• Assist in preparing and issuing sales invoices using Xero/ Quickbooks accounting software
• Follow up on trade receivables and outstanding payments
• Attend to incoming phone calls and basic client enquiries
• Provide administrative support at client sites when required
• Handle general administrative and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
