Job Summary:
To analyze end-to-endlogistics operations — including transportation, warehousing, last-mile delivery, and freight costs — alongside revenue streams and net incomeperformance. Then, develop a data-driven operational plan to improveprofitability, efficiency, and service ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Costing Analysis
·       Identifybottlenecks (delayed dispatches, low truck utilization, warehouse idle time) and collaborate with departments to streamline processes.
·       Analyze service-level performance (on-time delivery, damage rates, transit times) andlink to cost/revenue impacts.
·       Break down costs per shipment, route, warehouse, and client (fuel, tolls, wages,maintenance, rent, labor, inventory, freight rates, customs, insurance).
·       Compare actual vs. planned costs to identify leakage points.
·       Build cost-per-kilometer and cost-per-pallet models.
2. Revenue & Net Income Analysis
·       Analyze revenue by service type (FTL, LTL, warehousing, cross-docking, value-added services).
·       Assess profitability per customer, lane, or shipment.
·       Identify revenue leakage (incorrect billing, missed accessorial charges).
·       Calculate net income contribution after allocating direct and indirect costs.
3. Monitoring & Reporting
·       Build dashboards for cost-per-delivery, revenue-per-route, and net margin by customer.
·       Track performance weekly/monthly.
·       Provide variance analysis and recommend adjustments.
Requirements
·       Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance,Accounting, or related field.
·       Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics operations, costing analysis, orperformance analytics (for senior role).
·       Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) for dashboards andvariance analysis.
·       Experience with cost modeling (cost-per-kilometer, cost-per-pallet).
·       Knowledgeof TMS or WMS is an advantage.
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
·       Ability to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
·       Understanding of logistics cost components (fuel, freight rates, warehousing, labor, customs,insurance).
·       Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, sales).
