Job Scope:
- Supervise and coordinate piling works on site
- Oversee daily operations at the construction site, ensuring smooth execution of the project.
- Supervise subcontractors and construction workers to ensure high-quality work and safety standards are met.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure the work meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Work with the project team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues on-site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site.
- Maintain daily logs and reports on site progress, issues, and activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of site measurements, drawings, and material receipts.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the project stays on track.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and workers to maintain workflow.
- Attend meetings to provide site updates and resolve any technical or logistical concerns.
- Monitor material usage and ensure proper inventory control.
- Participate in site surveys and assist in evaluating site conditions, accessibility, and requirements.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of work schedules and timelines.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a site engineer role or related construction experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Willing to travel to project sites
- Piling works experience will be an added advantage
