• Receive samples and register on the system. Encode and take photos of samples.

• Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding processes.

• Register and terminate benefits in kind (e.g., private insurance) for new hires and leavers in a timely manner. 

HR Information System 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS (HiBob), ensuring all records - including personal details, job information, compensation, and contract type - are complete, compliant with internal policies, and audit-ready at all times. 

• Manage organizational structure data in the system, including reporting lines, approval matrices, cost center assignments, and headcount updates following any restructuring or role changes.

Why This Role

This is not a typical engineer role.

We are looking to bring on a Chinese speaking Embedded Android Lead engineer to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and lead our growing engineering hub. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, with real ownership over both system scalability and team development.r and lead firmware and OS layer of our digital signage platform.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining a custom Android (AOSP-based) system running on Rockchip devices.

This role includes a full relocation package and offers a global career path, including the opportunity to work from our US headquarters as part of our rotation program.

What You’ll Do

• Build and customize Android (AOSP) for embedded devices
• Work with BSP and vendor SDKs (Rockchip)
• Optimize system performance for media playback and multi-display
• Own firmware lifecycle: build, release, maintenance
• Implement OTA update systems
• Work closely with hardware/ODM teams during bring-up
• Integrate drivers, HALs, and system services
• Enable remote diagnostics and debugging

• 8 to 12+ years of experience in embedded software and Android development
• Extensive expertise in AOSP and BSP customization
• Familiarity with the Linux kernel, device drivers, and HAL
• Experience working with OTA systems
• Proficient in C and C++ programming
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (mandatory) and English communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rockchip platform
• Background in media pipelines and DRM
• Experience in digital signage or set-top box domains

Scope of work

The Consultant will be responsible for completing the following tasks:

Task 1: Emergency Response Planning

• Identify and define emergency scenarios, including but not limited to fire, explosion, equipment failure, and other operational incidents;
• Develop emergency response procedures (SOPs) for each scenario;
• Establish an Incident Command Structure (ICS) with clear roles and responsibilities;
• Develop evacuation procedures, escape routes, and assembly points;
• Define communication protocols and emergency contact systems;
• Provide recommendations for training and emergency drills.

Task 2: Fire Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis

• Conduct fire hazard identification and fire load assessment for key areas;
• Define fire risk zoning across the facility;
• Identify potential ignition sources and fire propagation pathways;
• Assess existing fire protection measures (if any);
• Perform a gap analysis against applicable standards and regulations (e.g., QCVN/TCVN or equivalent)

Task 3: Integrated Fire Safety Technical Assessment and System Configuration

• Preparation of fire protection layout drawings indicating key components (e.g., hydrants, extinguishers, detection devices, alarm points, and evacuation routes);
• Development of fire water supply and distribution concepts, including storage and pumping arrangements;
• Preparation of system schematics for fire detection and alarm systems;
• Identification and configuration of appropriate fire suppression systems (e.g., hydrant, sprinkler, or other relevant systems);
• Indicative calculations to validate system adequacy (e.g., water demand, coverage, and response capacity);
• Development of equipment lists and technical specifications.
