Job Responsibilities :

• To assist with preparation, distribution and delivery of marketing materials, and compelling social content across digital platforms.

• To assist in media monitoring for relevant and competing projects to identify current and future market trends.

• To assist writing the documents content and editing.

• To assist in managing and executing deliverables of the project schedules in an accurate and timely manner.

• To develop and run social campaigns, in both conception and delivery.

• To carry out general positive engagement with commenters on company content and social channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.

• To work alongside with Licensing, SSP, Distribution, and Membership Team to ensure social content is optimised for best performances.

• To contribute in brainstorming sessions for the activities.

• To communicate with internal and external parties (sponsors, media partners, agencies and/or vendors) to collate relevant information in relation to marcom projects and activities.

• To prepare agendas, presentations and meeting minutes.

• To collaborate with the working team on new ideas, directions and materials for marketing communications and media events.

• To assist in drafting and circulating newsletter, press/media release.

• To perform any other job/function that may be assigned from time to time

Job Requirement :

• Minimum 1-2 year(s) of marcom working experience.

• Required to possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Mass Communication or related discipline.

• Creative, resourceful, proactive and able to execute communication activities, marketing campaigns and social media.

• Working experience managing social media platforms, executing digital marketing campaigns and SEO.

• A good grasp of Google Analytics, social media analytics, A/B Testing, and metrics such as CPL, CPC, CPA, CAC and other engagement metrics.

• Computer and social media literate with basic knowledge in Design Software (Canva, Adobe PS and/or Adobe Illustrator), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint.

• A background in Public Relations with existing media connections is a plus.

• Quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to multitask.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and maintaining office systems, procedures and policies
• Providing administrative support to the management team as needed
• Handling general office duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry
• Assisting with the coordination of meetings, events and travel arrangements
• Maintaining and updating employee records including attendance and leave records
• Ordering office supplies, managing the office pantry, and overseeing other inventories
• Tracking office expenses including review of employee claims, invoices, etc.

We are looking for an Intern, reporting to the Manager, Legal based in Wisma Tune, Kuala Lumpur.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve:

• Perform and assist in legal research as may be assigned by any of the Legal Counsels.
• Perform and assist in document reviews, data extraction, data entry and migration.
• Assist in all steps required for the completion and signing of all legal agreements, contracts, legal forms, statutory declarations, affidavits, board resolutions and/or any legal or company secretarial documentation. 
• Assist the filing, scanning, organization, copying, saving and/or archiving of all such signed legal or company secretarial documentation.
• Assist to maintain and update the legal contract master list and corporate tracking list for all Teleport entities.
• Assist to manage the Contract Management System or any other systems implemented or used by the department on behalf of the legal department, to ensure all legal documentation is easily accessible and retrievable at any time.
• Assist in ensuring that all agreement templates, deal checklists and general terms and conditions are updated with the latest version for all Teleport entities, as required by the respective legal counsel.
• Assist the Manager or General Counsel with extracting documents and data or preparation of documents or reports pursuant to audit exercises, reporting or quarterly compliance testing requirements.
• Assist with stamping of agreements either online in LHDN website or hardcopy, as required.
• Prepare basic internal/external correspondences, letters, memo or legal online newsletters.
• Communicate with internal and external parties on behalf of the legal team,
• Other administrative, clerical and organization support as may be assigned from time-to-time by the legal department including assisting with arranging meetings, securing meeting rooms, and procuring stationery or tools.

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree holder or student, or any other relevant certifications or qualifications. Experience working in a legal department or law firm is an advantage.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills. Confidence in writing and speaking in English is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Analytical thinker, resourceful, proficient with research tools.
• Fantastic organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Skilled usage and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in Google Doc and Google Sheet.
• Ability to grasp and interpret basic legal documents.
• Ability to do basic legal research.
