Regional Director - Asia-Pacific (APAC)

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and inspiration for a talented team of staff and consultants working on resolving and preventing conflict in Southeast and Northeast Asia.

Key responsibilities would include:

·       Providing strategic vision and a flair for creative private diplomacy to resolve and prevent conflict in the region producing clear and measurable results.

·       Leading within HD as a member of the Senior Management Team and contributing to thematic and strategic debates for the organisation as a whole.

·       Collaborating with other HD Regional Directors on cross-regional projects where relevant.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement above-the-line brand marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement
• Plan and lead on trade marketing activities to drive sales and customer activation
• Forecast, plan, and develop products and point-of-sale materials (POSM) to support marketing and sales objectives
• Conduct sales analysis and market research to generate actionable marketing intelligence and reporting
• Manage a portfolio of brands to ensure sustainable long-term growth aligned with company objectives
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities through innovation or partnerships.
• Oversee management and compliance of licensed brands within the portfolio
• Lead and develop the local marketing team to build competencies and deliver expected business results
• Collaborate effectively with advertising, media, and promotion agencies to maximize campaign impact
• Apply strong analytical and organizational skills to plan and execute marketing strategies

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 10–12 years of marketing or commercial experience, including 3–4 years in senior management or leadership roles preferably in FMCG or a multinational environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans with measurable outcomes to drive organisational initiatives
• Track and report progress across key projects to ensure timely execution and alignment with strategic priorities
• Represent leadership in meetings with founders, investors, partners, and external stakeholders to advance organisational goals
• Manage follow-up actions and coordinate communication to maintain strong professional relationships across stakeholders
• Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and strategic communications that synthesize complex information into clear, impactful narratives
• Support investment storytelling, thought leadership, and business development efforts to enhance organisational positioning
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and oversee project workflows to maintain high standards of quality and operational excellence
