Position Title: Vice President, Financial Operations

Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Head of Treasury & Accounting, with executive oversight from the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid, determined by candidate location and business needs on a case-by-case basis.

General Purpose: Responsible for leading the Payment Operations function and overseeing transaction processing for a global CFD brokerage and cryptocurrency exchange.

Specific Objectives (~12 months):

Use defined KPIs to manage timely and accurate payment processing across all supported products, markets, and jurisdictions.

Improve payment success rates and reduce payment-related churn through strategic payment initiatives, optimized payment offerings, and improved transaction routing.

Maintain payment infrastructure and Payment Service Provider (PSP) availability to achieve 99.9% uptime by jurisdiction.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of payment processing expenses, including PSP fees, settlement costs, and related operational charges.

Proactively manage PSP relationships, maintenance windows, and service changes to minimize customer impact.

Increase automation of payment processing activities in line with agreed quarterly targets.

Strategically manage payment routes to reduce settlement costs and overall PSP expenses.

Mentor and manage a globally distributed Financial Operations team to maintain consistent performance, accountability, and service standards.

Provide clear and timely communication to senior management on Financial Operations performance, risks, incidents, and strategic initiatives.

Manage chargeback and dispute processing within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Activities:

Measure, monitor, and report the performance of each payment processor against agreed operational KPIs.

Continually assess team capability, coach team members, and support ongoing performance improvement.

Resolve payment functionality issues and address complex operational or program-related issues.

Maintain payment and order processing workflows according to established priorities.

Drive achievement of agreed qualitative and quantitative operational targets.

Analyze payment operations statistics and compile accurate performance reports.

Coordinate with development and technology teams to continually improve the customer payment experience.

Manage escalations requiring additional research, cross-functional coordination, and subject matter expertise.

Identify the most relevant payment methods for each project based on country, customer segment, and transaction cost.

Supervise technical integrations with Payment Service Providers (PSPs).

Key Competences:

Strong knowledge of high-risk payment operations, including local bank transfers, IBANs, card processing, cryptocurrency payments, and alternative payment methods (APMs).

Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to resolve complex payment operations issues independently when required.

Ability to work autonomously while maintaining accountability for operational outcomes and escalation management.

The Social Commerce Team is a fast-growing team leading the way in livestream selling, short video content, and affiliate marketing across Southeast Asia. We work with top brands, combining creativity, data, and platform expertise to drive real commercial results. As part of Intrepid’s end-to-end eCommerce ecosystem, we gain broad exposure across operations, collaborate with cross-functional experts, and play a key role in shaping how brands connect with digital shoppers in real time.

The part you will play
We’re looking for a highly creative and driven Senior Content Strategist to join our growing content team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping brand storytelling—developing compelling ideas, writing engaging scripts and captions, and spotting trends to keep our content fresh, relevant, and effective. This role demands a passion for words, strong communication skills, and a sharp eye for creative opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

As a Senior Content Strategist you will take charge of 

Your responsibilities would include:

• Write clear, compelling scripts and storyboards for short-form video content, from product showcases to campaign storytelling.
• Lead and guide the team, with a focus on understanding social commerce content strategies.
• Support the Video Content Lead in the ideation and development of big creative ideas aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
• Craft engaging, on-brand captions that support video narratives and highlight key eCommerce hooks
• Conduct trendspotting and competitor benchmarking to identify creative opportunities and shape content strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the video production team and key account managers to ensure messaging is cohesive and effective.
• Liaise with clients by preparing and presenting content performance reports, and keep them updated on upcoming content plans to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Present ideas confidently—both in writing and verbally—in team brainstorms and reviews.

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• At least 3 - 4 years of relevant copywriting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong portfolio showcasing storyboarding, social content, or campaign work
• Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, and tone
• Ability to identify trends and translate insights into actionable content ideas
• Basic ability to interpret content performance data and apply insights to copywriting
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for pop culture, fashion, lifestyle, and digital storytelling
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience writing for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts
• Familiarity with basic performance metrics (CTR, engagement rate, etc.) to inform writing.
• Can work under pressure and strive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ASANA, Frame.io, Google Suite
