You will join the existing Legal Operations Team, acting as the dedicated technical specialist working to support the broader Legal Team. Your mission is to ensure the Legal function is technically equipped to manage global obligations, protect data assets, and streamline critical legal workflows.

• Legal Strategy Realization: You will partner closely with Legal stakeholders to translate strategic legal objectives into practical, scalable technical solutions, transforming complex ideas into operational capabilities to drive measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities: Your Day-to-Day

Legal Tech Strategy & Implementation

• Lead the architecture, configuration, and implementation of critical third party legal and privacy platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Glean / LLM agents, AI tools, contract management tools) as well as internally developed enterprise AI solutions and MCPs, ensuring API-led integration with existing corporate and engineering systems.
• Engineer and optimize vibe-coded applications and agentic workflows for the Legal function. This includes designing Python-based data extraction scripts, managing structured rule sets for legal use cases (e.g., contract redlining, policy summarization), and deploying AI agents as composable Skills into daily workflows.
• Develop, program, and manage solutions to ensure Grab's policies are correctly implemented, optimizing for both regulatory adherence and business enablement.
• Act as the configuration owner, taking full responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and testing of deployed automations under the 'You build it, you own it' mandate.
• Working with the Legal Operations Team, drive Process Transformation by mapping current workflows, identifying optimization opportunities, and redesigning processes before applying AI automation.

• Design and deploy deterministic workflow automations for the legal team using enterprise orchestration engines..
• Apply Privacy by Design principles and other regulatory requirements to new data processing activities, developing technical solutions (using techniques like anonymization, pseudonymization, and encryption) to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent privacy risks.
• Provide technical expertise and resource planning for big data solutions, ensuring data architecture enables business insight while strictly adhering to privacy and data protection mandates.
• Update data workflows and inventory maps within privacy systems to ensure the continuous accuracy and maintenance of our Record of Processing Activities (ROPA).

Stakeholder Collaboration

• You will work closely with our Legal, Privacy, Grabber Technology Services and Tech Infrastructure teams.

The Senior Grid Planning & Strategy Engineer is the strategic architect responsible for aligning our BESS pipeline with Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). You will translate high-level energy policy into physical infrastructure investment strategies, identifying exactly where the grid requires BESS to maintain stability. By analysing long-term demand and RE integration challenges, you will position the company as a Strategic Advisor to the TNB Grid System Operator (GSO) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

Key Responsibilities

• Policy-to-Infrastructure Translation: Analyse the NETR and Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) targets to identify the physical transmission upgrades and BESS capacities required to meet 700MW+ RE integration goals.
• Macro-Grid Stability & Planning: Perform regional load-flow and contingency ($N-1$) analyses using PSS/E or DIgSILENT. Identify "Weak Grid" nodes where BESS can provide synthetic inertia and voltage support to prevent curtailment of solar assets.
• Strategic Advisory (GSO/ST Liaison): Act as the lead technical diplomat with TNB GSO and ST. Provide evidence-based recommendations on grid-level BESS dispatching and infrastructure design to influence future Grid Code updates and tender structures.
• BESS Dispatch & Revenue Optimization: Model grid-level BESS dispatch scenarios (e.g., peak shaving, frequency regulation, and spinning reserve). Advise the commercial team on how the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC) will utilize assets under the CRESS framework.
• Investment Roadmap Development: Design 5-to-10-year infrastructure investment plans. Identify optimal Point of Interconnection (POI) locations in the 132kV/275kV network where the grid is "thirsty" for BESS, ensuring long-term project bankability.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) or Energy Policy & Planning.
• 8 years in Power System Planning, Transmission Engineering, or Grid Operations.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Ir.) or Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

The Senior Grid System Design Engineer is the technical "Gatekeeper" for our BESS pipeline. This role carries dual responsibility: performing the advanced mathematical simulations required for TNB approval and acting as the primary technical auditor for BESS and PPC hardware suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• BESS Dynamic Modeling: Develop site-specific BESS models including Inverters (PCS), Battery
• Management Systems (BMS), and Power Plant Controllers (PPC). You must accurately model GridForming (GFM) logic, Virtual Inertia, and sub-50ms Fast Frequency Response (FFR).
• Supplier Technical Auditing: Critically review BESS and PPC supplier proposals. You must verify if their stated ramp rates, Round Trip Efficiency (RTE), and control loop latencies are mathematically achievable and compliant with TNB requirements.
• Grid Impact Studies: Lead the execution of Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Transient Stability studies. must specifically address Weak Grid ($SCR < 2.0$) challenges and ensure the BESS does not cause sub-synchronous oscillations.
• TNB Regulatory Representative: Serve as the lead technical representative at TNB GSO (EMS Unit) meetings. You will defend the simulation results and manage the end-to-end Interconnection Agreement (IA) process.
• Harmonic & Power Quality Validation: Perform detailed harmonic resonance studies to identify if a supplier's inverter switching frequency will clash with the local TNB grid impedance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or Power Electronics focus).
• Experience: * Minimum 8+ years in utility-scale power systems.
• Direct experience in modeling at least two utility-scale BESS projects (min 10MWh+) in a professional simulation environment.
• A proven track record of at least 3 successful TNB Grid Impact Study (GIS) approvals.
• Professional Status: Must be a Professional Engineer (Ir.) or a high-level Graduate Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Technical Authority: Ability to demonstrate prior experience in rejecting or correcting supplier technical designs based on simulation findings.

As our Hosting Systems Engineer you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and managing the infrastructure that powers web services, applications, and customer data. This role sits at the intersection of system administration, infrastructure, and cloud technology, ensuring that hosted systems remain available, secure, and efficient. 

Within this role responsibilities will include the management and optimisation of NEXTDC computing and storage infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows (and/or other systems) Server environments, and Hyper-V virtualisation. As our DevOps Engineer - Networks you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and operating the initial network automation, monitoring, and tooling stack for IT and OT network operations in the data centre. In this role you’ll establish first generation scripts, pipelines, standards, and documentation to move the organisation from manual operations to automated, code driven network practices, under support from the Network & Security Operations team.

Within this position, your scope will cover:

• Designing and implementing the first generation of network automation playbooks, scripts, and templates for standard changes, provisioning, and configuration compliance across IT and OT networks
• Selecting and implementing initial toolchain components (e.g. Git repository, CI/CD tool, Ansible/Terraform, basic test frameworks) defining how they will be used by the operations team
• Establishing and configuring core network monitoring and logging for the data centre (devices onboarded, alert rules, dashboards, basic SLOs) and integrating where possible with ITSM/CMDB/DCIM platforms
• Define and document standard operating procedures and runbooks for using automation and tools (how to request changes, how pipelines work, how to roll back)
