Responsibilities
and Duties
• Assist
Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager
(PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise
the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
• Determine
any non-conformances on works
•Liaise
with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure
that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a
reasonable time frame.
• Ensure
that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme
without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide
feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality
improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise
installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a
team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by
supervisor /client
Qualifications
and Requirements
• Minimum
Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5
years relevant experience in project/construction environment
•
Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work
•
Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills
•Required
to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction experience
