Role Overview

The Bid Manager manages end-to-end RFx and tender processes for qualified opportunities. You will ensure submissions are compliant, compelling, commercially, and executed. It also drives continuous improvement in bid practices, content reuse, and win rates through structured processes and AI-enabled tools.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate the full bid lifecycle across teams (Sales, Pre-Sales, Consultancy, Pricing, Legal, and Commercial).
• Ensure all submissions align with brand, governance, and commercial standards.
• Implement best practices to improve bid quality, efficiency, and outcomes.

AI & Content Optimisation

• Champion the use of internal AI tools to enhance response quality and turnaround time.
• Curate and maintain a reusable content library, including standard responses, case studies, and product narratives.
• Support team members in applying AI responsibly, ensuring human oversight and commercial judgment.
• Enhance templates, workflows, and governance frameworks.

Bid Tracking and Insights

• Maintain visibility of bid pipelines, including status, value, probability, and timelines.
• Deliver reporting on bid performance, win/loss trends, and cycle times.
• Provide forecasting insights and contribute to post-bid reviews to improve.

• Lead and manage all MEP construction activities on-site for the data center project
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment

·         Lead and manage the 2 teams for the month end close to ensure deadlines and deliverables are completed accurately and on time, advising team on journal validation/ substantiation and supporting to ensure proper audit trails

Job description

Role Summary:

The APAC Revenue team is responsible for the consistent application of global accounting policy for revenue and contract costs, by implementing and maintaining processes and controls to ensure that all associated accounting and forecasting is 100% compliant. This includes a mix of updating contract data for revenue recognition as well as billing and conducting a range of monitoring and review activities to identify any anomalies. Driving process standardization and Revenue Recognition tools new features implementation is key to success.

The APAC Revenue Manager will report to EMAP Regional FP&A, APAC Revenue & Cost Senior Manager in Malaysia and manage a team of 9. On a day-to-day basis he/she will work closely with the APAC Market Controllers and Finance team, Revenue tools team and as well as with Group Revenue Recognition Managers and Global Process Owner who are responsible for the relevant global and/or regional compliance activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

Supporting the implementation and maintenance of global processes and controls to ensure that all revenue and contract cost accounting is compliant with the relevant global policy; as well as ensuring the appropriateness of the key technical accounting judgements being made in APAC. 

The role will liaise with a variety of stakeholders, which are likely to include: 

• Regional Financial Controllers
• Finance Business Partners
• Revenue Recognition tools team
• Members of the Sales function
• Revenue Accounting teams within GFS and Regions
• Other members of the global finance organization responsible for revenue or contract cost accounting and forecasting

Key Responsibilities

·       Managing APAC revenue recognition and direct cost (contract cost/data cost).

·     Responsible for revenue recognition compliance, reporting processes and thought leadership, ensuring that the relevant requirements are clearly designed, documented and communicated to all relevant parties. This will include ensuring there are clearly defined Market inputs and determining the appropriate timeline.

·       Manage revenue /direct cost month end close, forecast and reporting activities.

·       Ensure revenue transactions are compliant with Group policy, are suitably documented/evidenced and (where appropriate) monitored at appropriate intervals.

·       Work closely with Revenue tools team to improve system accuracy and adoption.

·       Review and improve end to end revenue processes (contract management, system processing, billing process). 

·    Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, ensuring that the global agenda and guidance is clearly understood and that any exceptions or anomalies are identified at an early stage.

The APAC Cost Manager will report to EMAP Regional FP&A, APAC Revenue & Cost Senior Manager in Malaysia and manage a team of 7.

Managing the team

The Record to Report (RTR) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls within the broader R2R (Intercompany, Cash Management, Fixed Assets & Leases, General Ledger) and Financial Controllership (Statutory & Tax Reporting and Finance Controller) processes, systems, and teams. Working closely with all R2R functional teams and partnering RTR Balance Sheet Controls Manager.

Role overview and scope:

-       Working with area functional leads to identify, initiate and manage actions to mitigate risks and strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other internal processes.

-       Responsible for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the risk registers and updated if risk events occur; supporting incident reporting process and managing root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing controls improvements.

-       Partnering to functional leads to drive culture of risk awareness and proactive controls within the business. Achieve risk reduction, efficiency and controls targets for the organisation.

-       Addressing opportunities for process improvement initiatives (e.g. standardisation and automations) to ensure controls strengthening and improvement programmes while leveraging available finance systems, data and resources.

-       Working closely with area functional leads on internal audits preparation, coordination and communication following up on audit reports and actions with area functional lead; serve as the primary contact for external audits
