Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct all laboratory testing and measurements precisely, following established procedures, and ensure that instruments and facilities are well-maintained and functioning properly.
• Prepare standards and reagents for analysis according to procedures and ensure that all associated documentation is well maintained.
• Perform basic upkeep and troubleshooting of instruments, and document maintenance activities after repairs or servicing.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on lift and escalator installation, modernization, and maintenance works.

Objectives of the position:

The QA/QC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electric cable products. The successful candidate will be involved in quality assurance and quality control processes, including electrical & mechanical testing and inspection of cables and accessories to comply with industry standards and customer specifications. The person in this position will be responsible for in-coming Quality inspection, update status in SAP QM module, release inspection lots in SAP, type testing of cable products, handling customer request such as test data and other technical information as requested. This includes necessary communication with all stakeholders.

Knowledge in electrical cable testing or Electrical & Electronic (E&E) product testing, along with experience in SAP QM Module will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection & Testing of cable products & accessories

o Perform electrical & mechanical testing on electric cables and accessories using standard testing equipment to verify product quality and conformity

o Conduct dimension & visual inspections of cables and related components

o Update the result in SAP & product testing log

o Generate and issue acceptance test reports

o Summarize inspection status for monthly reporting

2. Track Supplier Quality:

o Conduct routine incoming inspection and when prompted by customer complaints

o Generate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and track corrective actions by liaising with the supplier

3. Compliance with Standards:

o Familiarize with and comply with international cable testing standards and procedures

o Contribute to achieving company and department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care, and personal accountability for quality assurance in all tasks

4. Liaise with Stakeholders:

o Effectively communication with relevant stakeholders

5. Maintain Records:

o Maintain records in SAP and other relevant records

6. Operate Laboratory Test Equipment:

o Operate laboratory test equipment (calliper, visio cable pro, tensile machine, IR test, HV test etc.)

7. Assist with Customer Technical Enquiries & complaints:

o Assist with product test reports and other technical documents when required

o Assist in Customer complaint processes to resolve issues quickly e.g. stock inspection

8. General Assistance:

o Assist in other day-to-day activities related to the QA department as assigned by your superior

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. ITE Cert / Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

Position Overview

The QC Personnel will be responsible for supporting day-to-day Quality Control laboratory activities, including testing, documentation, method validation support, data review, and compliance with GMP requirements. The role requires hands-on experience with laboratory systems such as GLIMS, Veeva, and SAP, as well as experience in analytical method validation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of QC laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical, biologics, medical device, or GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience with method validation, method verification, or method transfer is required.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory or quality systems such as GLIMS, Veeva, and SAP.
  
• Experience in QC testing, laboratory documentation, investigations, and GMP compliance.
• Familiar with GMP, GDP, data integrity, ALCOA+, and laboratory compliance requirements.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, pH, conductivity, TOC, endotoxin, bioburden, sterility, or other QC methods will be advantageous.
• Able to execute and document method validation activities according to approved protocols.
