Job's mission

As a Senior Engineer, Electrical Engineering at ASM, you will act as a technical lead for electrical systems within advanced semiconductor equipment. What you will be working on

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems and sub-assemblies, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with product architecture

• Develop contingency plans to address and mitigate any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and updates for senior management and stakeholders
• Create, review, update, and administer the project delivery schedule and plans using Primavera software to ensure effective project management
• Liaise with the Project Manager and project team to discuss project activities, monitor progress, and update the project schedule as needed
• Coordinate with clients and other subcontractors’ planning teams to organise different phases of construction development effectively
• Prepare analysis reports containing milestone progress status, critical issues affecting project completion, resource loading plans, project recovery plans, and extension of time claims
• Monitor progress closely and highlight any potential delays in achieving project milestones to proactively address issues
• Inform, highlight, and advise Project Manager/ Project Director if there are any indications of potential delays to the project
• Prepare project progress S-Curves and rolling programs (1/3/6 months) to visualise project timelines and resource allocations
• Generate and update weekly and monthly project progress reports that include program analysis, accomplishment reports, photographic records, status of the critical path, and recommendations for timely project completion
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and methodologies within the team
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Preferably with a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering/ Construction or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
• Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices
• Computer literate with proficiency in planning software such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, P6 Primavera
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work as a team and proactive
• LTA experience will be preferred

• Responsible for tester installation, re-configuration, upgrade, repair and debug
• Identify and execute continuous improvement to improve test performance and OEE
• Generate technical gap analysis of new hardware, software and license requirement

The role focuses on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and minimizing unplanned downtime (UDT). This includes planning maintenance strategies, leading troubleshooting activities, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure stable and efficient equipment operation.

YOUR ROLE 

1. Set-up process recipe of newly setup process equipment.
2. Perform qualification for new process equipment and new process recipe.
3. Evaluate the new processes and make a series of process characterization.
4. Perform inline troubleshooting and qualification in daily operation.
5. Follow Gemba activity to identify opportunity of improvement in operation and quality aspects.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Degree in engineering of materials, chemistry
• Knowledge of excel, office suite.
• English language proficiency
• at least 5 years experience in wafer fab process engineering, and having at least 3 years experience in DCVD process; preferred experienced in DCVD process tool type in Applied materials Centura and Producer.
• Strong CVD process technical knowledge background, with experience to develop and optimize new process recipe
• Master SPC, FMEA and 8D problem solving methodology.
