Technical Procurement Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be the key link between innovation and supply chain execution, ensuring the successful sourcing of critical electronic components for our hearing aids and accessories.

You will play a vital role in securing our supply chain resilience by supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and leading "2nd Sourcing" initiatives. More about you:

You are a technically savvy procurement professional with a solid foundation in electronics manufacturing. You are comfortable diving into technical data and drawings and can communicate effectively with both engineers and suppliers. • Deploy proven category development activity to unlock new opportunities through; interrogating data, category planning, product & supplier optimisation, sector/culinary collaboration, setting sector standards and driving volume through best value products, unlocking incremental value from supplier relationships/JBP’s, cost benchmarking, contract coverage across all spend and driving continuous improvement in data integrity.

• Personally own and deliver key categories, supplier negotiations and commercial outcomes, acting as a hands-on procurement lead where scale or complexity requires.

• Support the continued evolution of procurement from a tactical function to a strategic contributor, by improving category maturity, data transparency, and stakeholder engagement.

• Embed and consistently apply Compass Group procurement best practice, processes and ways of working in day-to-day procurement delivery across SEA.

• Own the effective use of procurement data and systems in SEA and partner with APAC/global teams to improve visibility, control and insight.

• Build strong sustainable relationships with key strategic suppliers to leverage and deliver value.

• Drive improvements in sustainability and ESG, aligned to Compass Group’s global strategy as well as local laws and targets. This includes but is not limited to embedding Supply Chain Risk Management with a key focus on Human Rights and Environment, animal welfare, DEI and climate targets.

• Compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 3 Singapore driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic rules.
• Minimum secondary school education.
• Basic spoken and written English to understand work instructions and maintain records.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Able to use mobile navigation tools (e.g., Google Maps, Waze) for route planning.
• Physically fit and able to carry light loads during dispatch or procurement tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Positive working attitude.
• Willing to work overtime after work hours (if required).
