Renesas is seeking for a supplier quality engineer for its Outsourced assembly and test subcontractor management. The Subcontractor Quality Engineer is responsible for providing support of Supplier Quality Systems through identification and evaluation of key process metrics, verification of Renesas specific requirements, support of Quality and risk mitigation activities, continuous improvements, audits and implementation of best-known-practices. This role ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed and assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO/TS16949 wherever applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Management & Liaison

Act as the primary quality interface between suppliers and Renesas, ensuring alignment with quality requirements and expectations.

Quality Excursion Management & Corrective Actions

Lead the investigation of quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D) and drive effective corrective and preventive actions to closure.

Supplier Audit, Certification & Change Control

Maintain and execute the supplier audit program and support supplier process/material change management and site certification activities.

New Supplier Assessment & Qualification

Provide quality leadership in the evaluation and qualification of new subcontractors supporting Automotive, High Reliability, Industrial, and Commercial markets.

Continuous Improvement Leadership

Analyze quality trends, manage improvement projects, and influence cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement at subcontractor sites.

Training & Best Practice Deployment

Deliver supplier quality training and support the development and deployment of best-known practices across subcontracted manufacturing operations.

In this role you will be part of a Field Service team providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical oil & gas and other associated Industries.  

In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel.

1. Develop and execute SQL scripts to generate test data for Telco core systems, including sim packs and other relevant data sets.
2. Possess a deep understanding of Telco core systems to ensure accurate and comprehensive test data creation across multiple platforms.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for test data and ensure alignment with testing objectives.
4. Implement and maintain data masking techniques to ensure data privacy and security compliance.
5. Collaborate with software engineers and quality assurance teams to analyze test data requirements and provide timely solutions.
6. Perform data validation and verification to ensure the accuracy and reliability of generated test data.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to test data generation, collaborating with relevant stakeholders as needed.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in test data management and automation.
9. Contribute to the development and improvement of test data management processes and tools.

1. Proficiency in SQL scripting for test data creation and manipulation.
