Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Development

• Define and execute the business development strategy for security systems and solutions in alignment with the company’s overall commercial objectives.

• Identify and pursue new markets, verticals, and growth opportunities, including enterprise, government, and regulated environments.

• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the security sector to inform strategy and positioning.

Revenue Generation & Deal Leadership

• Originate, structure, and lead high-value business opportunities, including large-scale and multi-year projects.

• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, consultants, partners, and decision-makers.

• Lead commercial negotiations and contribute to contract structure, pricing, and risk assessment.

• Build and maintain a strong, high-quality sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to senior management.

Industry & Client Engagement

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years of professional experience, with substantial experience in business development or sales leadership within the security industry.

• Demonstrated track record in selling security systems and integrated solutions, such as: 

  • Video surveillance (CCTV / VMS)

  • Access control systems

  • Intrusion detection and alarm systems

  • Integrated command & control or PSIM platforms

• Proven success in managing long sales cycles, complex RFPs/tenders, and project-based sales.

• Experience engaging enterprise, public sector, or critical infrastructure customers is strongly preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure and close complex deals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.

Role Purpose

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the regional supply chain. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on optimizing the movement of building hardware and power tools from Chinese manufacturing bases to South Asian markets. You will manage the technicalities of international trade while driving operational excellence in marketing and local distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• China Sourcing Strategy: Manage relationships with Chinese OEM/ODM partners; oversee factory audits, quality assurance, and lead-time negotiations.
• South Asian Market Logistics: Design and execute the "Last Mile" strategy for power tools entering India and Bangladesh, managing local compliance and freight coordination.
• Operational Marketing Support: Translate market data from India/Bangladesh into sourcing orders, ensuring inventory reflects regional demand for specific hardware categories.
• Cost & Margin Control: Monitor "Total Landed Cost" per unit, including tariffs and freight, to protect corporate profitability.
• Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team in Singapore, providing oversight for procurement, logistics, and regional sales support.

The Ideal Candidate

• Industry Expertise: Proven track record in the Building Hardware or Power Tools industry (e.g., handling power tools, drilling equipment, or abrasive materials).
• Geographic Knowledge: Deep understanding of the business cultures and trade regulations in China (sourcing), India, and Bangladesh (distribution).
