Requirements:

5. Inventory & Cost Control

·    Assist with daily stock checks and ingredient requisitions.

·    Support proper receiving and storage of goods.

·    Practise FIFO and proper labelling.

·    Reduce unnecessary wastage and over-preparation.

·    Inform supervisors of slow-moving, damaged or low-quality ingredients.

6. Team Support & Leadership

·    Guide junior cooks, commis and part-time kitchen staff during preparation and service.

·    Lead by example in discipline, cleanliness, urgency and teamwork.

·    Support training of new team members on recipes, stations and SOPs.

·    Help maintain a positive and professional kitchen culture.

·    Step up to support the Sous Chef / Head Chef when required.

Requirements

·    Minimum 3 to 5 years of kitchen experience.

·    Prior experience as Supervisor / Senior Supervisor (Kitchen) preferred.

·    Experience in fast-casual, cafe, salad / bowl, Western, Asian or high-volume kitchen operations is advantageous.

·    Strong understanding of food preparation, hygiene and kitchen discipline.

·    Able to work quickly and accurately during peak service.

·    Comfortable handling both cooked and fresh food components.

·    Good teamwork and communication skills.

·    Able to follow SOPs and maintain consistency.

·    Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

·    Valid food hygiene certification required.

Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate inventory through stock counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments and ensure proper stock control.
• Improve warehouse processes and apply best practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams for timely deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documents such as Delivery Orders, Packing Lists, and shipping records.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, company policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide administrative support for warehouse and inventory activities.
• Update inventory records and stock listings regularly.
• Support urgent or emergency deliveries when required..

SAP & Inventory Management

• Process Goods Receipts (GR) and Sales Deliveries in SAP.
• Handle stock transfers and inventory movements within SAP.
• Create and maintain warehouse storage locations in SAP.
• Manage Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), and Bill of Materials (BOM) issuance transactions.
• Generate monthly inventory reports for reconciliation and month-end closing.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations and support year-end audits.
• Assist auditors by providing inventory reports and documentation.
• Participate in annual stock take exercises.
• Reconcile consignment stock against physical inventory.
• Monitor long-aged inventory items for scrapping or buyback opportunities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company and financial controls.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or related field.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
• Good knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1) and inventory processes.
• Experience with stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
