About the role

• To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications / bills of quantities, construction drawings, company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health practices and all other contract documents.
• To coordinate and liaise with Client’s representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.
• To liaise with Client or Consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure records are maintained at site.
• To plan and manage site operations and ensure efficient delegation of duties and responsibilities to work teams.
• To prepare and document daily reports to track completion progress.
• To ensure upkeep of site machinery and equipment, and maintain proper documentation of maintenance regime.
• Under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe by following safety and health procedures; reporting unsafe acts and incidents; and not tampering with safety devices or performing willful/reckless acts.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Certificate in Pavement Construction and Maintenance
• Preferably with 5 years of relevant experience
• Possess Class 3 driving license is a good advantage
• PC Literate

Responsibilities

• In charge of managing daily production, capacity planning and machine optimization.
• In charge of leading and motivating the production team to meet schedules for the various operations supporting customer requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, organized and clean work environment by setting and driving 6S standard.
• Responsible for respective consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, risk assessment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
• Involve in supporting and participating in Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Conduct routine cell and tool box meetings with effectively.
• Responsible for maintaining a motivated and disciplined workforce and promote a positive working environment to improve employee morale.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams in resolution of any issue that may impact production/quality.
• Responsible in identifying opportunities for production efficiency improvement and reduction in waste.
• Taking charge of managing proper and accurate updating of ERP system (Syteline).
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Engineering or relevant
• Min 7 years of production or operations experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 years of experience in a supervisory
• Experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication processes.
