Work you’ll do

GL Operations/Management/Statutory Reporting

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, audit, and tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, manage fixed assets and leases, coordinate month-end closing activities, liaise with the shared service team, and ensure timely submission of management reports in compliance with Southeast Asia Finance (“SEA Finance”) submission timelines.

The team provides early-stage financing through the NCS Technical Assistance Facility (TAF), delivers analytical and technical support, strengthens alignment with host-country systems, and supports project development and implementation in close partnership with FMUs. The team also engages across evolving market pathways—both voluntary and emerging regulated frameworks—to position CI’s carbon supply for future market opportunities in the region. The Sr. Program Coordinator supports the effective execution of Conservation International’s Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) Technical Assistance Facility (TAF) and related programmatic work across the Asia-Pacific region.

• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan agreements between related entities.

• Support data migration projects, including migration from Xero to NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other external stakeholders.

• Assist in process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancement initiatives.

• Support ad hoc finance and accounting projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling multiple entities.

• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Experience with Xero and NetSuite is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and loan arrangements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Job Responsibilities

• Perform month-end accrual activities.
• Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system using double entry accounting.
• Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes.
• Monitor GRIR and timely payment processing.
• Ensure billing completeness, Monitor collection of debts.
• Communicate with internal stakeholder on collection / payment queries.
• Use relevant Infocomm technology systems and tools effectively for data analysis.
• Enter accurate data into the accounting system.
• Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system.

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• At least a Polytechnic Diploma in Finance or related qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, however, entry level is welcome to apply
• Experience with using SAP Hana is advantageous.
• Preferred candidate with experience in handling large volume of transaction monthly.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Able to do OT as and when required.
• Work location at 60 pioneer Road, Tuas
• Work days & hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm
