Get to Know the Role

The Senior Data Engineer role in the Metrics Platform team is a hybrid data and software engineering role. • You will improve the developer and data practitioner experience by building self-serve workflows, automation, documentation, and operational tooling.
• You will operate and optimize the core metrics serving infrastructure, including Apache Pinot, ingestion systems, and related cloud services.
• You will investigate and resolve platform reliability, performance, and correctness issues across the request, query, metadata, and serving layers.
• You will provide technical guidance to engineers and partner teams on platform design, data modeling, integration patterns, and operational best practices.
• You will use AI-powered coding, analytics, and data engineering tools responsibly to accelerate development, debugging, documentation, testing, and data investigation.
