Key Responsibilities
· Assist the Senior Contracts Manager to manage and lead a team of Quantity Surveyors on all contractual matters.
· Identify and evaluate new tender opportunities and coordinate the full tender process from measurement to submission.
· Manage the "after-process" including contract administration, procurement, and budget setup once a project is awarded.
· Prepare contractual claims and tender specifications while assisting in arbitration or legal matters when necessary.
· Monitor project budgets closely and prepare tender documents for new projects to ensure commercial targets are met.
· Liaise closely with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors on all contractual and commercial matters.
Requirements
· Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Project Management.
· At least 10-15 years of work experience in the Singapore building industry, preferably in an Assistant Contract Manager or Senior QS role.
· Relevant experience in handling Contract Management within the local building construction industry.
· Experience in project and contracts management, procurement methodologies, and evaluation of construction cost norms.
