ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA & BOBJ Specialist to join our client's Enterprise Analytics team. This role is central to the design, development, and maintenance of our data warehousing infrastructure and business intelligence landscape.

• Review vulnerability findings and develop WAF virtual patching solutions to rapidly mitigate risk

• Monitor and analyse activity logs to detect malicious traffic and indicators of compromise

• Work with developers to implement protective controls customised for specific applications

• Review WAF usage and define improvements to mature protection policies

Vulnerability & Firewall Management

• Manage the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle — assessment, reporting, and stakeholder remediation engagement

• Execute firewall change requests and resolve connectivity issues arising from firewall policies

• Provide preventative maintenance and rapid troubleshooting to ensure infrastructure and application stability

• Apply understanding of routing, NAT, ARP, and tools such as tcpdump to trace and resolve data-flow issues

Operations & Reporting

• Utilise SIEM platforms to create custom security reports and operational dashboards

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust end-to-end data pipelines that power our operational and analytical capabilities.

You will work closely with data analysts, BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data from multiple source systems (databases, files, APIs, streaming platforms).

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, and enterprise data integration tools.

• Ensure data pipelines are scalable, resilient, and performant to meet operational and analytical requirements.

Role:

• Carry out the activities in the testing lifecycle including test planning, analyzing business and system requirements.
