Roles & Responsibilities

This position requires the applicant to be responsible for engineering and technical aspects within every project.

He/She will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Job Scope:

Execute and revise project work plans to cater to changing needs and requirements

Supervise subcontractors’ works to ensure timely completion and adhere to various standards

Liaise with clients, senior engineers in preparation for site work and plan schedules

Keep Project Manager well informed of status of project and coordinate communications between various departments

Liaise with the design specialists on drawings, amendment and re-submission to clients

Assist in conducting site measurement and inspections

Communicate with subcontractors and other suppliers

Monitor the delivery schedule of equipment/material to site

Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.

Prepare and submit project documents

Attend site and office meetings and prepare progress reports

To study project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.

To assist in planning and organizing piping engineering activities and manpower requirement for the project.

To assist in developing piping engineering and design schedule, manpower requirements, manhour distribution and execution plan based on the scope of work and approved budget manhour/schedule.

To prepare piping information list and layout and document list following standard procedure created for the project.

To prepare piping general specification inclusive of specification for piping arrangement, piping support standards.

To interpret and evaluate stress/vibration analysis result and provides necessary recommendation on resolving the method of analysis.

To develop conceptual routing, piping layout and piping information of major critical equipment of the project such as tower/column, airfin coolers, heaters, compressors, reactors and boiler, preferably in 3D CAD format.

To check and review all work such as piping layout and information prepared by Engineers, 3D model, MTO, BQ and other deliverables of the project for compliance to project standards or specifications, applicable codes, contract requirements, quality standards and accepted engineering and construction practices.

To provide field engineering support/advice towards piping installation and testing at construction site.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent

Keen to learn, possess positive attitude and able to work independently

Competent in MS Excel and Words

Job Description:

Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Coordinator in the construction industry ensures compliance with safety regulations, promotes a culture of workplace safety, and minimizes environmental risks. This role involves conducting inspections, training employees, and implementing safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, Singapore Standards, and other safety and environmental regulations.

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions.

- Maintain and update safety policies, procedures, and documentation (e.g., RA, SWP, permits).

- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and prepare reports with corrective actions.

2. Training & Awareness:

- Organize and conduct safety training programs (e.g., fall protection, PPE, hazardous materials, emergency response).

- Ensure all workers and subcontractors complete mandatory safety orientations.

- Promote safety culture through toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness campaigns.

3. Environmental & Regulatory Compliance:

- Monitor waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control measures.

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals).

- Maintain records for environmental permits, inspections, and audits.

4. Emergency Preparedness:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans (fire, chemical spills, medical emergencies).

- Conduct drills (evacuation, first aid, fire safety).

- Ensure availability and maintenance of safety equipment (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, first aid kits).

5. Reporting & Documentation:

- Maintain EHS records (training logs, inspection reports, incident reports).

- Submit required reports to MOM and Occupiers.

- KPI (Key Performance Indicators) safety performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Certifications:

- Advanced Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (ACWSH)

Experience:

- 2+ years of EHS experience in the construction industry

Key Skills:

- Strong communication & training abilities.

- Ability to interpret safety regulations and apply them on-site.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Description – QA/QC Engineer (Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer)

Job Summary
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction and engineering works meet specified quality standards, project requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workmanship quality, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans and procedures
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Prepare and submit Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and quality documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, project team, and subcontractors on quality-related matters
• Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
• Identify defects or non-conformances (NCR) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure materials delivered to site meet required standards and approvals
• Liaise with consultants for inspections and obtain necessary approvals
• Maintain proper documentation for audits, handover, and project completion
• Support internal and external quality audits

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation
• Familiar with drawings, specifications, and site coordination
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities

Working Hours

• 5.5 days work week
• Overtime may be required based on project needs
