Job Summary

Join our regional HR team in Singapore to support business operations across multiple regions. You will partner with leaders on HR matters, drive talent acquisition, and contribute to organization development in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with occasional travel to Africa.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and regional stakeholders to address HR needs and deliver effective HR solutions
• Execute full-spectrum HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and HR operations to support business goals
• Lead and support talent acquisition activities to fulfill regional hiring requirements efficiently
• Participate in organization development, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance workforce capability and culture
• Implement and improve HR policies, processes, and systems to optimize HR service delivery
• Coordinate and support regional HR projects and cross-country initiatives to ensure alignment and successful execution
• Travel to Africa as required to provide on-site HR business support

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience with exposure to full-spectrum HR or strong focus on Recruitment or Organization Development
• Experience working in multinational corporations or large-scale organizations
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to build effective working relationships
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese to communicate with diverse parties
• Adaptable, hands-on, and able to work independently in a dynamic, multicultural environment
• Willingness to travel overseas, including Africa, as needed

Job Responsibilities:

1. Handle and maintain full sets of accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely recording of financial transactions.
2. Review supporting documents for payment requests and prepare or assist in preparing daily payments.
3. Maintain various financial ledgers, statistical records, and other accounting schedules.
4. Responsible for and assist in month-end closing activities, including preparation of bank reconciliations, AR/AP aging schedules, finance reports, and audit schedules.
5. Perform account reconciliations and checking for inter-company balances, related companies, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
6. Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits for the company and its subsidiaries, including supporting schedules and audit documents.
7. Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.
8. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or related disciplines.
2. 3 years and above of relevant finance experience; prior experience in shipping or insurance industries is preferred.
3. Good command of both Chinese and English, with ability to liaise with Chinese counterparts.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Word skills.
5. Familiar with accounting software; knowledge of Sage/SAP/Oracle is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the Executive Vice President’s calendar, appointments, and meetings.
• Prepare, review, and format presentations, reports, meeting materials, and correspondence.
• Arrange and coordinate business travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, and itineraries.
• Prepare travel schedules and follow up on travel claims and expense submissions.
• Liaise with internal teams across the region to coordinate meetings, collect updates, and track follow-up actions.
• Support the preparation of management meetings, conferences, including meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Maintain proper filing systems for documents and records, in both digital and physical formats.
• Support document control, approvals, and version tracking.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with due care and discretion.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the managements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and above in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative support role. Experience in supporting senior management or regional leadership will be an advantage.
• Good organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience in a multinational or matrix organization will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate and coordinate with English- and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders in the course of work.
• Willing to travel as required by business needs.
