We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on team player to join us as a Surgical Support & Logistics Assistant. In this role, you’ll support our doctors in the operating theatre by helping to prepare and manage medical equipment during procedures. When there are no surgeries, you’ll help with simple administrative tasks like delivering invoices to clinics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a clinical environment, is organised, and doesn’t mind being on the move when needed.
Responsibilities
In the Operating Theatre:
• Support doctors and theatre staff by preparing and managing medical equipment during surgeries to ensure smooth procedures
• Inspect and verify that all medical equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use before surgeries
• Assist with non-clinical tasks during procedures to support surgical teams effectively
• Communicate with the team to report and coordinate maintenance or servicing of medical equipment promptly
Outside the Theatre:
• Deliver products and documents to clinics accurately and within scheduled times to maintain operational flow
• Perform basic administrative and logistics tasks during non-surgical periods to support clinic operations
• Maintain simple records of equipment usage and delivery activities to ensure accurate tracking
Required competencies and certifications
• Able to work 5.5 days per week with flexibility to handle last-minute case
• Communicate effectively in the clinical environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Comfortable working in a clinical or surgical setting with willingness to learn (training will be provided)
• Responsible, punctual, and able to multitask while staying organised
• Good communicative and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members
